Drew gave us all a few days off of work for the holidays. All of the cast members went to be with their families so Colin and I had a quiet Christmas. I needed some time to figure myself out. On New Year's Eve, Colin and I were invited to a party at Ryan's house. I took a shower with peppermint shower gel and washed my hair thoroughly with shampoo and conditioner. Once I was dry, I got dressed and put on a satin red dress. I slipped on a pair of black heels and brushed my hair. It was a special occasion so I straightened it. I walked downstairs. "You look beautiful," Colin told me. "Thank you," I smiled. We got in the car and drove to Ryan's house.
It took us ten minutes to get there. Colin got out of the car and opened my door. I stepped onto the driveway. Colin extended his arm out to me. I took it and we walked to the door. I rang the doorbell. Ryan answered it. "Hey guys! I haven't seen you in forever. How are you?" he asked hugging me. "I'm doing well thanks," I answered. We went inside. All the other whose line cast members were there. "Chip, Jeff, and Jonathan, this is Jennifer. She's the newest whose line cast member," Colin said. "We've heard loads about you. It's so nice to meet you," Chip told me. I hugged all of them.
Ryan set up the food area and everybody went running. It was pretty funny. I got some food with them and sat on the couch next to Jeff and Brad. There was a knock on the door. "I'll get it," I said running to the door. I opened it. It was Robin Williams! "Robin," I exclaimed. "How are you sweetheart?" he asked hugging me. "I'm doing great thanks," I answered hugging him. "You guys know each other?" Drew asked. "Yes. I played Lydia in Mrs. Doubtfire so that's how we met," I answered. "So that's where you look familiar from," Drew replied. "I was about nine years old at the time. The first time I met Robin I was so excited that I almost fainted," I laughed. "It was very flattering," Robin smiled. We got settled on the couch and ate some food. "Do you guys have any fond memories of filming Mrs. Doubtfire?" Wayne asked. "We sure do. Originally for the dinner scene, I was supposed to be the one who was choking. I put the shrimp in my mouth and started choking for real. I was lucky that we didn't stop filming that seen otherwise I don't know what would have happened," I answered. "That's pretty scary," Jeff commented. "It was pretty funny when we did the first take of the scene that Lydia and Chris find out that I'm Mrs. Doubtfire. They couldn't keep a straight face for at least five minutes," Robin laughed. We laughed.
We watched It's a Wonderful Life before putting on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. "10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 Happy New Year," we shouted. Jeff picked me up and threw me in the air. I was thankful he caught me. All of us hugged each other and then we had a huge group hug. I could feel the love we have for each other. Maybe my life can change after all.
