Greg's POV

The heart monitor started beeping like crazy. A bunch of doctors and nurses ran into the room. "Her blood pressure is way too low," one of them shouted. They rattled off a long list of medical lingo and we were forced out of the room. Robin, Brad, Jonathan, Drew, and I exchanged worried glances. Colin, Ryan, Jeff, and Chip ran down the hallway towards us. "Where is she?" Colin asked. I pointed to the room. "Why can't we go in?" Jeff asked worriedly. "Something's happening. They said something like her blood pressure was way too low or something," Brad answered. I sat down slowly and leaned forward. "What is it Greg?" Ryan asked as everyone circled around me. "I just can't help but feel responsible. I let them into the house. I didn't know that they were wearing disguises. I'm so guilty," I said. "Greg, I'm really sorry you feel that way but it's not your fault. Her parents deceived all of us. Ultimately, they're the ones at fault. You didn't tell them to stab and shoot her. They did that themselves," Chip replied. I knew that was true. "Thanks," I mumbled. "Jennifer wouldn't want you to blame yourself," Colin said softly. Choked sobs filled the hallway.

Jennifer's POV

Something felt very strange. I was in a pure white room with no windows or doors. I saw a figure walking towards me. She had gorgeous blonde hair and had a strong resemblance to Marilyn Monroe. "Are you Marilyn Monroe?" I asked. "I sure am. You must be Jennifer," Marilyn stated. "I am. Can I ask you a question?" I asked. She nodded. "Am I dead? I asked. "You're not dead but you're very close to it. You have to make a choice but we'll talk more about that later. How did you become famous?" Marilyn asked. "I was one of the stars of a children's TV show called The Saddle Club. I got to act and sing for that. Now, I'm on an improv comedy show called Whose Line Is It Anyway," I answered. "That's really awesome. I started off in modeling and moved into acting a little later. Tell me Jennifer, how would you describe yourself?" she questioned. "I'm loyal, caring, reliable, and a good singer and actress," I answered. "I know you're more than a good actress and singer. You have tons of awards for your Saddle Club vocals," she replied. "We are pretty successful," I admitted. "Of course you are darling. How do you think your fans see you?" Marilyn asked. "All they care about is the shows I'm on. Besides, they think I'm fat and can't be funny to save my life," I sighed. "That's not true. I know what it's like to have people criticize you, believe me. They only say that stuff because they're jealous of you. You're a beautiful girl," she said. "You're right. Thank you," I replied.

"We're going to take a little trip," Marilyn stated. Suddenly, we went flying out of the solid white room. I don't know how that's possible but I guess the halfway to death point is a little different from reality. We hovered in the sky and flew down to the ground once we saw a huge city. It looked like Los Angeles. I saw people walking around. I was really confused with what was going on. "We're in the future. No one can see us and they're not aware of us," Marilyn smirked seeing the confused expression on my face. We walked inside a house. I saw Colin sitting in a chair. He looked so lonely and sad. "Why is he so sad?" I inquired. "You didn't make it. This his life without you in it," Marilyn explained. "Where's everyone else?" I asked. "A little impatient aren't we," she replied amused. We were transported to Greg's house. I found Greg surrounded by bottles of alcohol drinking away his guilt. It hurt my heart to watch. The scene morphed into Drew, Ryan, Jeff, Chip, Brad, Jonathan, Wayne, and Ryan sitting together. "Why aren't they at the studio?" I asked. "They quit comedy. They can't even make themselves laugh so they can't make anyone else laugh. The show got cancelld," Marilyn informed. I couldn't look anymore.

We returned to the white room. "What do you think about what we just saw?" Marilyn asked. "It was horrible. Everyone was so sad," I answered. "That's what will happen if you decide to stay here and leave the earth," she stated. I was torn. "What's wrong?" Marilyn asked. "I don't want them to be sad but I don't want to deal with hate anymore," I answered. "I know it's hard to handle. A lot of people criticized me for my acting ability and only cared about me for my looks. The world can be cruel but more people care about you than you think. I didn't realize that. You still have a chance. I'm not allowed to reveal anything about you're future but trust me it's worth it," she said. I pondered this. "Okay I'll stay. Will I ever see you again?" I asked. "Probably not unless you have another near-death experience which I hope you don't and I need to convince you to stay alive. You're a very strong girl. I hope you know that. Most girls couldn't handle your past," Marilyn stated. "To be honest, I don't know how I handle it or if I handle it," I said. "Just promise me to get help if you need it," she replied. "Okay," I promised. We hugged. "It's time for you to go back.  Just to give you a heads up, you're pretty beat up.  Take all the time to get yourself better alright," Marilyn grinned.  "Okay.  Thanks for everything," I replied giving her one last hug.  She smiled and me and faded into the whiteness of the room.  Everything went black.

Colin's POV

"We got her back," I heard them shout five minutes after the monitors went crazy..  I let out a sigh of relief.  A doctor walked out of the room.  "How is she?" I asked.  "We got her blood pressure back to normal.  She's still in critical condition but this was a major victory for her.  We can tell she's a fighter," he said.  "She is.  She's been through a lot but she always pulls through," I replied.  All of us walked into the room.  Jennifer had a slight smile on her face.  It gave us a sense of peace that everything might be fine after all.  After visiting hours were over, I was alone with her.  I stood at Jennifer's side and took her hand.  "Jennifer, I don't know if you can hear me or not but I want you to know that you're the best thing that has ever happened to us.  You would probably think that our careers were the best things for us but that's not quite the case.  You bring such excitement to every day and you are such a lovely young woman.  Please get well soon," I said before falling asleep on the couch next to her.

Hey guys!  I hope you enjoyed this chapter.  I wanted to try something new with using more point of views.  I think that made the chapter more interesting for the content.  I had a great 18th birthday.  One of the gifts I received that you guys might be interested in is Not Quite the Classics by Colin Mochrie.  I have read some of it and it is hilarious.  I can't wait to keep reading it.  I did well at my solo and ensemble.  I really appreciate it that some of you guys messaged me about it.  It makes me so happy that you guys care about me in and out of my writing.  After next week, I will be on spring break.  I'm really looking forward to relaxing.  Does anyone have anything exciting or relaxing coming up in their lives?  Let me know.  I love getting to know you guys.  Thanks for everything!

Lots of love,
