We apparated to the London house, right outside of it
Nothing has changed on the outside, the street is still gloomy
I can't say I mind it, the street is rarely busy just people who live in the same neighborhood walking by
Moody used his cane to tap the password out and the house showed itself after he was done
"I have missed this place" I said holding onto Fred's hand "I never thought I'd say that, it used to be so dark and dusty but with everyone being here for the holiday it's going to be so..."
"Lively" Fred said to me smiling "just like the Burrow"
We walked hand in hand to the entrance, as my dad ran around and chased the snowflakes that were falling outside
I shut the door behind our group, faintly hearing Moody yelling at my dad to get back inside
My dad doesn't leave the house I wish he could...he loves the outdoors and loves being Whiskers
Before I could let my thoughts haunt me I was dragged into a tight hug from Mrs.Wealsey
"Oh deary! Look at you, you've been safe right?" She asked looking me up and down
"For the most part" I said smiling but she didn't smile back
"What do you mean—" she was interrupted by my dad running passed us and bringing in mud from chasing things outside "Sirius! You have no idea how long it took me to clean this house!!" She yelled at him
He transformed
"Sorry Molly I just got a little excited is all, Electra Harry" he said coming up to us and squeezing us into a tight hug "good to see you I'm so happy everyone is here" he smiled
I couldn't help the smile that plastered onto my face
"Dad I've missed you" I felt my heart start to tighten in my chest at those words
"I've missed you so much dear...what's happened at the school I hear Dumbledore's gone?"
Harry and I looked at him puzzled
"How'd you find out?" Harry asked
My dad grabbed the prophet and showed us the front page
Umbridge takes control of Hogwarts
Dumbledore on the run
The header of the paper explained how the ministry is on the lookout for Dumbledore and how Umbridge is the new headmistress
"I still don't get it...why wouldn't it be Professor McGonagall why would it be Umbridge who takes over? Shouldn't she out rank her?"
"The ministry wants control of the school, they want to control all the 'rumors' of Voldemort too" my dad explained
In the background I heard a few gasps at the name but I did my best to ignore it
"Just let Fred and I take care of her" George said pushing Ron around who joined our group
"Don't get into any more trouble!! Finish up your school year for Merlins sake!!" Mrs.Weasley yelled at the twins
This is home
Yelling
Everyone running around
Hallways being too cramped
Rooms being shared
This is what home means for me
I smiled at my inner thoughts, but felt a pull on my hand
Fred was smiling back at me and kissed my cheek
Mr.Weasley explained the room situation for us
Fred and George would share a room as would Ron and Harry
Hermione and Ginny had a room to share, I had my own but I figured I wouldn't be there at all this break
I already knew I'd be in Fred's bed most of the holiday
