Lightning *Fred Weasley love*

Year 6 Part 10

I turned into my fox form and ran to the forbidden forest

I didn't want to talk to anyone, Fred scolding me right after Ron did was the final push over the edge for me

I ran around for hours, I could occasionally hear wolves howling in the forest
That used to scare me growing up, but as a fox I am no threat to them

I found a small cave to dwell in for the night
It was Sunday now, around 2 am is what I would assume by looking at the moon's shadow on the small pond in front of me
I'll stay out here all night just to get some peace from everyone yelling at me

Fred's POV

  "Electra??"

I slammed my hands into her shield

She blocked me out

  "Electra!!" I yelled

  "Fuck"

George look at me from the bottom of the stairs

  "Everything good?"

  "No"

He walked up to the loft

I explained to him what Electra said, and to my surprise he didn't get mad when I mentioned Percy

  "Well first of all, you asked her what was wrong right?"

Great he's about to lecture me
  "Yeah"

  "And she opened up to you and told you even though she knew you'd get angry"

  "...yeah"

  "And what did you do?"

  "I got angry"

He sighed "Fred, you know you're wrong in this right? Yeah Percy is a prick, but can we really fault her for wanting to get his advice on something so big? I'm actually surprised he wrote back, if anything it's a sign that he is who he used to be. It's buried somewhere in that ugly uniform"

I looked down at my necklace and held it in my hand

  "And as for Cormac, unfortunately you can't go into the school and kick his ass. You're going to have to rely on Ron or Harry to handle it if things get out of control. Electra can handle her own too you know...I think everyone forgets how strong she is. You all make her feel weak, so that's how she acts but when she was younger NOTHING scared her you know why? Because no one was telling her she couldn't handle it"

  "I fucked up"

  "Yes you did"

  "I don't really know how to fix it if she doesn't let me in"

He sat next to me and put his hand on my shoulder "you don't until she contacts you"

  "But she's mad at me, I don't want her going to bed angry or what if she ran off alone and gets hurt? I don't want the last thing we said to be...to be an argument"

  "You love her that's why you worry, but she's smart she isn't going to put herself in danger"

  "You know we're talking about Electra right? Trouble follows her"

  "Yes but she's in the safest spot she can be in, Hogwarts is under a lot of protection spells nothing is getting in without Dumbledore knowing. Build her up again, make her feel strong. Tell her to kick Cormac's ass herself"
