Lightning *Fred Weasley love*

End Game Part 11

"So we have a Horcrux" I said looking at the locket on the ground of our tent
Hermione said Mr.Weasley gave it to her to use if we ever found ourselves on the run. I'm happy to have him thinking of us like that and helping Hermione be prepared
It looked like the same tent we used during the Quiddich Cup
same spot same tent

"How do we destroy it?" Ron asked laying down on a bed that came with the tent

"Hello sweetling"
The locket spoke to me again

"Does the locket...speak to anyone?" I asked nervously

"No" Hermione and Ron said

We looked at Harry

"It doesn't speak to me...but it's power pulls me" he said twisting it in his hand "it's very dark magic"

"Maybe one of us should wear it until we figure out how to destroy it"

Harry put it around his neck
"I'll wear it"

"Where do you think the next one is?" Ron asked

We were all silent
No one knew where the next one would be or how to find out

That night I volunteered to go out and try to find food as vulpes
Nighttime was easier to hide in and more creatures would be running around now

I found a bush filled with blackberries that could give us a boost so I made a mental note of its location
I ran trying to find a rabbit or a squirrel, something with protein for us but I also ran because I needed the release
Being Vulpes gave me relief from my stresses, I could run and no one would bother me

I heard a noise from behind me, so I ran for a bush that was close by
I waited for the noise to happen again, staying completely silent while doing so

The noise happened again

I got my mind ready to run and hide in a better spot but when I was ready to race for it a rabbit jumped in front of me
I waited for it to stay still and then I pounced on it

I ended up killing it and dragging it back to the tent

"Oh Vulpes good job" Ron said grabbing the rabbit from the ground
I ran off from the tent to try to find more food for us
One rabbit wasn't going to sustain us

By the end of my hunt I was able to find two more rabbits and that berry bush

"Thank you Electra" Hermione said when I changed back to my human form

"No problem really I liked being able to run around again"

"We need to be careful about how often you do that, if something happened to you none of us would know" she said watching Harry and Ron clean and skin the meat "you have blood all over your face the lake is in our protection we can handle cooking if you want to wash up"

I nodded and left the tent to go clean my face

I walked up to the lake, the sky was completely dark from the lack of a moon but the stars made up for it as usual
The stars sang to me in a different tune than the locket or my own powers
The stars are where I find my peace

I sat down next to the lake's edge and looked down into the water
When I looked into it I saw my reflection and how bloodied my face was, but also how my eyes were blue
I wonder if they've been this since I was separated from Fred

I used my hands to scoop water to my face and scrub away the blood
I wonder how long we can stay here before we have to move again
And we have more Horcruxes to find...if we can find them

I went back to the tent where Hermione stayed true to her word about cooking the food
Hermione and I shared a rabbit while Harry and Ron had a full one each
They tried to share with us but it's getting hard to eat again. I'm too stressed from being far away from Fred and not knowing his well-being

During our dinner Harry had another vision from Voldemort
Hermione yelled at him for going into his mind again and refused to listen to the vision Harry had
Ron wanted to listen so Harry began telling him
I was too tired from chasing animals the last couple of hours to listen as well, so I told them if it was important to what we have to do please fill me in about it tomorrow morning

Hermione and I were sharing a bed beside Harry and Ron who shared a bed too
When we used the tent last time we had more beds but Hermione wasn't sure how Mr.Weasley produced them so we settled for sharing
I didn't want to be alone anyways

I stayed up the whole night, Hermione slept on and off just like Ron and Harry did

Most of my night was spent going outside whenever my mind was too loud and looking at my dad and mum's star and seeing them dance for me
Fred doesn't have a star named after him but a star that always shines next to their stars I named after him
It helped me to imagine it was him brightening up my night with my parents
Or I'm going crazy could be either

Harry and I set out the next morning to find food at a nearby village
I didn't venture out this far yesterday since I was alone.
Harry was going to be covered in his cloak and I was just going as Vulpes, a small fox is mostly unnoticeable when you are nearby a forest
As long as no one knows I'm an Animagus

I walked calmly next to Harry when we entered the village
It was quiet, but a few tents outside had food that we could steal
Some bread, vegetables and some had fruits as well
I thought I saw a meat stand but it was the furthest away so it was hard to tell

Harry's plan was for me to distract a vendor while he stole food and kept it under the cloak
Which would have worked if we didn't see dementors right away

They were flying all around the village, spectators were watching from inside their homes and the vendors were standing still trying to not cause attention to themselves

I looked at where Harry was standing and waited for our next move
I'm sure they know I'm an Animagus I can't go close or draw my wand in this form

Harry didn't do anything
Is he ok?
I felt a pat on my head which was our signal for departure so I headed back to where the tent was located

When we got back Hermione was boiling hot water for us to drink and Ron was relaxing on the couch, still healing from being splinched

Harry took off the cloak and threw it on the table
"Dementors everywhere and I couldn't even produce a single Patronus!" He yelled "why the hell are they all over the damned place it's not even close to the ministry"

I transformed back to my human form
"Harry it's ok I'll just go hunt"

He glared at me
"I don't need you to be constantly putting yourself at risk! Fred trusted me to protect you, how can I do that when I can't even follow you when you hunt?!?"

Hermione looked puzzled at us
"Harry take off the locket"

He kicked down a chair
"No I'm fine I just need to let off steam"

"Harry" she said "the locket" she put her hand in front of Harry who reluctantly took it off and put it in her hand

His face went back to normal, no longer agitated and red
"Woah" he said picking up the chair "I'm really sorry about that" he looked to both Hermione and I

"It's ok" Hermione said wearing the necklace "it's dark magic with dark energy I'm sure that's why you couldn't produce a Patronus...and it seems to negatively affect moods" she put the necklace under her jacket "we will take turns, if one of us starts to get to that level we switch"
