Lightning *Fred Weasley love*

Year 3 Part: 3

We entered the castle hallway and went to the Great Halls to welcome the 1st years and see who we get in our house.

I looked around and the castle looked as beautiful as it did when I left last year. The ghosts of the school were roaming the halls, and Peeves, the pranking poltergeist, was throwing water balloons at anyone who got lucky enough to be under him.
Walking next to Fred and George always got me out of Peeves' pranks and since the Graham exchange on the train ride here, they decided to walk me into the castle too

I sat down at the Gryffindor table
It was filled with happy faces, ready for dinner to show
Fred sat on my left and Harry sat on my right. In front of me were Hermione and Ron
Next to Fred was George and in front of him was Lee

I was a little surprised to see Fred next to me and not his girlfriend Angelina, but I welcomed his decision and didn't question it.
It definitely made me smile seeing him beside me

Dumbledore gave us a speech on Dementors, who were now going to be around the forest in hopes of finding Sirius Black.
That made me cringe, thinking of how I felt when I got attacked, I didn't want my dad to feel what I felt
I know he's been attacked by them before since he's in Azkaban but now that he's on the run I don't want to see him get hurt or in trouble with those foul creatures.

Dumbledore also introduced our new Defense teacher, Professor Lupin.
Ron Harry Hermione and I stood up and clapped for him, we already liked him since he helped us out with the dementor on the train
I swear he blushed during his introduction
I'm so glad that we have a capable teacher this year, I was starting to worry that we wouldn't ever learn anything in that class.

Food appeared in front of us and we all dove right in. I went for the baked sweet potato, and as many vegetables as I could find

"You don't want any of this meat?" Fred asked as he showed me the meat platter in front of him

"No I'm ok, I'm fine with the vegetables I have right now I'm not that hungry"

"Why?" He asked concerned

"I'm just not, I'm trying to eat better this year, I failed on the train ride up but I'm going to eat healthy this year only, I'm starting to feel heavy after my meals and I don't want that weighing me down when I play quidditch or when I go for a run around the lake" the sweet potatoes had the most delicious seasonings on them, I will have to make a note to ask a house elf about it

"If you want someone to run with I would definitely join you" said Seamus who was dropping into our conversation from down the table

Dean who was sitting next to him, rolled his eyes
"Mate you never run"

"I would love to pick up a new hobby" he said smiling at me

"No, she's fine, if she wants a running partner I'll go with her" Fred said annoyed

I don't get why Fred is acting this way, it's almost like he's...jealous.
But I know he's with Angelina so I can't imagine him getting jealous over another guy giving me attention
I gave Seamus a sweet smile, just to see what Fred would do
"I think it would be nice to have you join" I heard him make a displeased noise beside me, which made me smirk "but I like running at 6 am, and since I know neither of you are up at the hour I will continue to run alone"

Harry laughed, he knows that both of those guys sleep in as long as they can neither of them are morning go-ers. Ron is usually waking Seamus up right before they leave for breakfast and I often hear that Lee has to get both of the twins up before first class.
