My eyes were closed but I could hear what was happening around me Screams from families who came to have a fun weekend Tents falling down from the flames People pushing and shoving each other What a nightmare Chaos was erupting everywhere around us, but Charlie never faulted from holding me tight and Bill continued leading us on towards the forest They didn't stopped to check on anyone else, they moved on.
I assumed we reached the forest because I couldn't hear the screams anymore. It was silent here, like those who took shelter were hiding in the quiet, hoping to not be bothered Then I could hear footsteps running up to our group, yelling my name Fred...he's going to be so mad at me
"Is she ok...?" He asked panicked
"She will be, she's resting" Charlie replied
"What happened?" George asked
"When we found her, she was being tortured by a Death Eater who was using the Cruciatus curse...lucky we found her when we did" Bill said
"Oh Electra..." Ginny said
"Can you pass her to me?" Fred asked
"You left her alone" Charlie said agitated "why would I hand her over to you?"
"Please" Fred never said please when it came to his siblings. None of them really used any manors towards each other "you know I wanted to go back for her"
"And get yourself killed? No that's why you were forced to stay behind. I already laid into Electra the danger she put herself in, but Fred I expected you to keep her safe along with Ginny"
"I know" was all he said He must feel so defeated I made him feel that way
"You're lucky Bill and I have to go find the others, or you wouldn't be in charge of protecting her" Charlie handed me over to Fred as gently as he could "she's in a lot of pain, be easy with her"
Fred held on tightly to me, like he was afraid to let me go As if Charlie was going to change his mind and not let him hold me "Thanks for finding her you two...I should have been there for her" Fred said
"You should have, but honestly now that I'm done yelling at you too you did what was best for the group. Who we had to take on was even above our level of skill. Electra had no chance of beating him. You wouldn't have either" Charlie touched the top of my head "stay here with the group, all of you" he glared at each one of us
"I'm not going anywhere now" Fred said kissing my forehead
"I know you care about her a lot, but there will be times when you can't help" Bill said after hugging Ginny tightly "There will be times when she's too stubborn to listen and she'll get hurt from it, like today. Gryffindors are annoying in that sense, we're too brave for our own good. She wanted to save her friends, I understand where she was coming from even if the rest of you don't" he said looking at Charlie and Fred
