I couldn't breathe

I was screaming at the top of my lungs

Everything around me went silent I could only hear the screaming coming from my voice

I felt arms wrap around me as I was on the ground holding my head with my hands

"Electra" I heard a voice calmly say "Electra please stop screaming"

I couldn't

"My dad..." I said between sobs "I saw him get hit with the k-k...killing"
I couldn't bring myself to say the rest

I felt the arms around me loosen and the presence leave me alone

My head was throbbing from the blow it took earlier, and from the screaming that was now echoing in it

I felt a fire coming from my bracelet and when I looked to see what was happening, it snapped off my wrist and exploded

I covered my face to shield from the shards that went flying

When I felt it was safe, I looked around at its remaining pieces, the charms that Fred put on it scattered around the floor near the explosion
I slowly picked each one up, and pocketed them
Not letting my vision go towards where I knew my dad was laying dead

Dead...

I felt hot tears fall from my face again

A body came running for me, I could hear the footsteps making their way over

"Electra!!" A males voice was yelling

He threw himself onto my broken body and cried with me

"I'm ok" he said through tears "I'm ok"

I opened my eyes and saw my dad embracing me

I swallowed the tears back
"Dad...? But I saw you..." then I looked to where he was just laying

My mother wasn't moving

"What..." I felt tears coming again "she's..."

He put his hands on my head and held me closely
"She sacrificed herself" he said through his own sobs

My heart was breaking
The loss of my mother was pulling onto emotions that I didn't know I could have for her. She didn't hold a spot in my heart, but it was breaking the same as if she did.
Though she wasn't around for me, she was for my dad for almost his whole life. His first and only love, gone

I lifted my head from his chest and looked towards her dead body

Death eaters were apparating from the scene, and the order members were going to my friends and checking injuries

All but Lupin who was next to my mother, putting his jacket over her body to cover the scene

"Where's Harry?" I asked my dad after I controlled my sobbing "where's Neville?"

I saw most of my friends sitting down comforting each other but not the two of them

My dad shot his head up when I asked the question
"Harry was next to Remus before I ran over to you" he said looking around "Remus where is Harry?"
