The next morning while we waited for Fred and George's distraction we decided to visit Hagrid, since his last class seemed to anger Umbridge. When we got there he asked us to follow him into the forbidden forest
"Where are we headed?" I asked
"I have a feeling after yesterday I'm going to get sacked..." Hagrid said
"No you won't I'm sure someone did worse" Hermione said trying to lighten the mood
"No trust me, I can tell on these things" he said "so there is someone I need you all to meet, and take care of when I have to leave"
"It's not a spider is it?" Ron asked nervously I shuddered at the thought of Hagrid asking us to take care of a giant spider
"No, but he's quiet large" Hagrid said
We walked for a long time before Hagrid stopped in a clearing
"We've never gone this far" I said to Hagrid
"No one usually does except me and well Grawp" he said
"Grawp...?" Hermione questioned
Just as she asked a huge giant came running through the clearing
Hermione screamed, Ron and Harry jumped in front of us to block the Giants view
"Saw hello to Grawp my half brother" Hagrid said smiling
"Your half brother?" Ron said
"It's not spiders at least" I said with a hint of a smile
"He will need someone to take care of him and keep him company when I get sacked..." Hagrid said pointing at him "he's very gentle wouldn't hurt a fly really!"
Just as he said that Grawp looked our direction and grabbed both Hermione and I in his hands and brought us up to his face
Harry and Ron started throwing rocks at him and Hagrid was yelling at him to let us go
Hermione was trying to squeeze her way out of his hands but I decided to take a different approach
"Grawp? How are you" I patted his finger that was around my waist "I'm Electra, I'm a friend"
He looked at Hermione and put her down
Then he opened his hand and let me sit on his palm
"Do you want to be my friend?" I asked
He nodded his head
"Good because I want to be your friend too" I smiled and turned into a fox
He jumped a little but let me run around on his arm and up to his neck
"See Grawp they're good you'll love them!" Hagrid said
I jumped down and then ran up to Harry who grabbed me and put me on his shoulder
"Thanks for being so understand Electra, well all of you. Please take care of him he's the only family I've got" Hagrid went up to Grawp and gave him a giant branch to play around with
We all silently agreed with one another to help Hagrid out, he was our friend and we would do anything for him
We exited the forest, and I turned back into my human form
Harry let me go out of his hold, and we all waved goodbye to Hagrid after giving him a hug
