Summer has been slowly passing me by
Each day felt painful, every time I feel like I've been through the worst of it more comes along
Last year I died, this year my mum did
I spend my days here at my dad's home and nights at Fred and George's loft
It took a lot for my dad to allow me to live there too, but he trusted that Fred would keep me safe at all cost and my dad helped put up protection spells that Fred didn't know of
"He's a remarkable wizard" my dad said to me the day he visited the loft "he put up spells that I didn't know he knew, that anyone new to the order knew how to perform"
"He's kind of a genius" I said smiling "he reminds me of you a lot"
"The stories I hear about him and his brother, definitely remind me of James and I. I'm glad Hogwarts had another pair of pranksters go through there"
Harry stayed at my dad's full term, though Dumbledore disapproved of it at first saying his house at private drive was protected with old magic. He came to terms with it after my dad explained his want to have his family all together
After losing my mother, it was hard to argue with that logic
Dumbledore was reinstated as Headmaster, and Umbridge was sent back to the ministry
The only reason my dad was letting me go back to the school without him was knowing that Dumbledore was going to keep us safe
Today, an order meeting was going on which now included almost all of the Weasleys the only two not allowed in were Ginny and Ron who were both angry about it
"So Nova said Voldemort wants a power you have" Dumbledore asked me "we need to find out what that power is"
"How do you suppose we do that cut her open and dig for it ourselves?" Snape said
My dad glared at him "cut open my daughter Snivellus and you'll learn what true hell is"
"I don't think he's being serious" I said back smiling
"Anyways—have you noticed anything different in the last couple of years? Since your first encounter with Voldemort" Moody said
"Nothing really, my emotions seem to be stronger but I haven't noticed any power. At one point I was able to see into Voldemort's mind like Harry but I perfected Occlumency and since then I've kept a shield up"
"At least someone listened in those classes" Snape said annoyed "you got your brain from your mother and Harry you got yours from your father it would seem...lazy distracted—"
My dad jumped out of his seat "do not talk about James or Harry like that you are in MY house do your best to remember that" he sat back down "if it's an early death you're looking for you're sure to find it that way"
Harry smiled and so did I
"Let's call this meeting to an end for now" Kingsley said "I have to go back to the ministry"
Tonks Kingsley and Moody all apparated together, Tonks looked at Lupin right before she left
"Is there something going on with you and Tonks?" I asked Lupin
"Why would you think that" he said
My dad looked at me and winked
"Just curious...anyways wasn't Charlie supposed to be here too?" I asked Mr.Weasley "I miss him"
"I know he's your favorite Weasley but you don't have to make it so obvious" Fred said smiling
"He said he's going to miss a lot of the meetings...he's getting married this year. Got a lot of planning to do before he comes back" Mr.Weasley said
