The first couple of hours on the train ride home, Hermione and Ron bickered
"Why is it a big deal that I'm with Lavender? Maybe I should have invited her home for Christmas" he said trying to annoy her more
"Maybe you should have!" She yelled "and maybe I should have taken Viktor's request to see him in Bulgaria this holiday"
Harry was ignoring them like I was trying to do but failing miserably
"Electra tell her she's being psychotic" Ron begged
Hermione glared at me
"I'm staying out of it"
There was a knock on the door
Lavender was beckoning Ron to go sit with her for the rest of the train ride
Hermione rolled her eyes
"Have fun talking about hot guys with Parvati, she's practically brain dead" Hermione said
"I think I will go have fun with them," Ron said getting out of his seat
Hermione got up and said she was going to go use the bathroom, so it left Harry and I alone
"Are you ok?" I asked him
"I feel like Draco is a death eater and none of you are taking it seriously"
I put my hand on his shoulder but he shoved it off
"Harry, there isn't a lot of proof for that claim. But I'm trying to take your word, I really am" I sighed "what happens if he is? What's your plan?"
He looked out the window
"I don't know, catch him and make him confess it"
"And what would that do? Are you going to bring him to Azkaban?"
"If he is a death eater why wouldn't I try? Why are you defending him?"
I stared at him and raised my eyebrows
"I'm not I'm just trying to see things from your point of view"
"None of you three believe me, but when he proves it just know I could have stopped it with your help"
After a long painful train ride, we finally arrived in London
I got off the train as fast as I could and saw Fred waiting patiently with Kingsley and Moody
I hugged Hermione goodbye, she said she was going to be at the burrow on Christmas, and ran into Fred's arms
"Hi love," he said kissing the side of my head and then kissing my lips "how was the ride?"
I rolled my eyes
"I'd rather not relive that"
He looked confused but took the hint, he knew I would tell him later anyways
Ron was saying goodbye to Lavender and Harry was slowly making his way to our group
Ginny hugged Luna goodbye and then raced over
"Are we all finally ready?" Moody asked annoyed
I held onto Fred and Ginny's hand and we apparated to the burrow
Mrs.Weasley hugged us all and explained the room situations while we were here
I was sharing with Ginny and Hermione when she arrived
The house smelt like cinnamon and baked goods
She had the whole house decorated for Christmas, and like usual let Fred and George pick out the ugliest tree they could find in the woods for us to decorate
My dad was arriving here later tonight with Lupin and Tonks who was going to be with them as well
Christmas Eve was my favorite over actual Christmas Day
We all get together and sing Christmas carols, decorate the tree, and share stories from previous years
Fred explained to me that he had to go back to the shop, it was extremely packed when he left to get me
I told him I would go with him to help but he insisted I rested instead
He promised to be here by 10, so we could open each other's gifts
We had decided to open ours separate from the family this year, I don't have a clue on what he got me but I know mine is going to be the winner this year
Finally I could best him in gift-giving
My dad arrived a couple of hours after we did
I hugged him tightly and he told me he would catch me up on what the order was doing while I was away
I loved that my dad didn't shelter me, or Harry
He let us in no matter how dangerous the information was
And when Harry told him he thought Draco was a death eater my dad didn't say anything
He just looked stunned
"You're sure he made that vow?" Lupin asked from the other side of the table we were sitting at
Mrs.Weasley was pouring us tea, and pacing around while she waited for Mr.Weasley to come home
I wonder if she does this every day
"I'm sure, Snape said it out loud"
"Maybe he was lying? Did he see you?" Lupin said
"No there's no way he did, I know what I heard"
Lupid and my dad shared a look
"Thank you for telling us Harry, we will inform the order excluding Snape of course. If we find out anything we will tell you both"
That seemed to satisfy Harry because he relaxed his shoulders and finally sipped from the tea that was poured earlier
Mr.Weasley arrived making Mrs.Weasley calm down as well, the energy in the room was calming back down
"Lupin you've been living with werewolves this year?" I asked changing the subject from Draco
He nodded
"Dumbledore asked me to, hoping that I could sway them away from Voldemort trying to recruit them...but it's hard. They don't care for me because I am known for hating that side of me"
I listened to Lupin explain werewolves and the community they had underground
"Fenrir Greyback has been talking to them for Voldemort too, he's been more successful than I have. They respect him" Lupin said annoyed "they're not easy to get along with"
Tonks came into the room and hugged Lupin, she must have sensed his discomfort
"We will figure it out my dear" she said to him
Fred and George showed up later that night without the girl that Fred told me about earlier this month
Apparently they broke up, she wasn't interested in meeting his family and George took that as a sign that she wasn't the one for him
"You'll find someone" I said to George "someone who will love our family"
He smiled and hugged me tightly
