Its Halloween, which means it's the day the Goblet choses it's Victors.
It's been a couple of days since my row with Fred, I forgave him for his comments but I'm still annoyed that he thinks I'm not smart enough to get into the Goblet just because they failed. If I don't get in, it'll only be because my name wasn't picked not because I succeed
"Hey Electra it's time for the ceremony let's go get good seats" Hermione said, we were sitting in the library doing homework "are you nervous?"
"Not at all, I'm excited I hope I get picked. Can you imagine the look on the Professor's faces!" I said laughing
"More like the look on Fred's, he's going to be so mad" she said laughing
"He'll be so jealous that we figured it out and he couldn't"
"Let's go!" she said grabbing my hand and her book
The Great Hall was filling up with students, Beauxbaton decided to sit with Ravenclaw, and Durmstrang sat with Slytherin. Can't say I'm surprised those schools reminded me of those houses. I waved at Cedric who waved at me, and then found my seat next to Fred and Hermione, behind us was Harry Ron and George
"Who do you all want from our school?" I asked
"Not Cedric that's for sure" Fred said and I rolled my eyes
"I'm hoping Alicia or Angelina since they're both from our house, but I'm sorry Fred, Cedric wouldn't be bad either" Harry said
"I wish it was one of us" George said
"Hermione hopes her new arm candy gets in" Fred said, Ron glared our way
"Who's that??" He asked annoyed
"It's none of your business Ronald" I said laughing as he rolled his eyes
Dumbledore, Madame Maxine and Karkaroff all walked to the Goblet.
The hall became silent
This is it
"Thank you all for putting your names into our Goblet. I wish all who are picked luck, this will be the most challenging event you'll be placed in." I felt my legs shake from excitement
Fred noticed it and placed his hand on my leg to keep my still. I bet he thought I was anxious, he couldn't be more wrong "There is allowed one champion from each house, you will be rated during each challenge and the one who does the best after the 3 rounds, will receive the cash prize and the will have eternal glory!" Everyone erupted in excitement after Dumbledore's words
"First we will choose for Beauxbaton" a piece of blue paper flew in the air and into his hand "Fleur Delacour!" The blonde that Ron fancied got up, and walked forward
Her headmistress greeter her with a smile
"Look at all those poor chaps" I said pointing to the Ravenclaw table, where the females from Beauxbaton were in tears "pity"
"Next we have Durmstrang" a grungy piece of paper flew into his hand "Victor Krum!" Victor got up went to shake Dumbledore's hand
His headmaster high fived him and I saw whispering going on between the two of them
I looked at Hermione and winked
"Of course he's in, the rest of the champions might as well quit now" Ron said laughing
"Now we have our own school's champion" a white piece of paper went flying into Dumbledore's hand
Please please please please
"There is no way..." Dumbledore looked at his fellow headmasters and then backed at the paper
