I woke up, ready for the day. It was 9am, later than I usually sleep but when I woke up Fred was playing in my hair
"Good morning Love" he said kissing my forehead
"How long have you been up?" I said reaching up and stretching
"About an hour, I've been at peace playing with your hair I hope I wasn't what woke you"
"No I'm used to being up early, actually earlier than this" I said looking at the window closest to us "it's got to be mid morning now? I slept so well I missed out on running. I suppose I did go go bed late"
"If you had gotten up at 6, I would have made you go back to bed. 4 hours of sleep on an important day like today can't happen" he said laughing
"Are you ready for breakfast?"
"You're actually going to eat this morning?" He said shocked
"I think some fruit and veggies will help me for the game"
"You know, foxes don't just eat berries all day" he said jokingly
"I know but this fox does" I said with a wink
I left his bed to go to my dorm and get changed. It was mandatory for the players to be in uniform for the game during breakfast. We show our team pride that way
"Can you believe tomorrow is the last day of the school year?" Hermione said "I feel like I still have so much to learn"
"I felt like this year dragged on" Ron said filling up a plate for Hermione while she studied more
"Professor Trelawney was correct when the leaves predicted happiness for me this year, or should I say you were correct Hermione, maybe you should teach that class" I ate some berries that Fred topped my plate with
Hermione scoffed
"I was predicated death, and that didn't happen so maybe it's half right" Harry chimed in
"Well my happiness was around your grim Harry so maybe mine was just stronger than yours"
"To be fair mate we have till tomorrow" Ron said "and you have that game against Slytherins"
"Thanks Ron" Harry put his head onto the table dramatically I chuckled
"Good luck to both teams. You have played well through this year, we will miss you Wood and you Flint. Good luck in today's match , I want a FAIR game" Madame Hooch said
"Alright everyone today's the DAY!! We have Gryffindor against Slytherin for the Cup!! Go go Gryffindor!!" Lee said
I looked around, and it couldn't be a better day to play. The sun was shining, the wind was warm. I could see the whole school in the stands, and when I looked closer I could see Professor Lupin and my dad at the top, where they were last time. My dad was barking and jumping around, I am so happy to see him, well both of them here, cheering me on. That gave me the final push I needed to do well today
