Lightning *Fred Weasley love*

Year 6 Part 12

I heard the door open after Fred ended our conversation
I looked at the entrance of the pub, and through the crowd of students and wizards I could see him walking in
He didn't need to look around, just like I didn't need to tell him where I would be
He headed straight for our booth
The one we always sat in together
Just the two of us
Even when we weren't together I didn't sit here, it's always been just ours

I couldn't hide my smile, as soon as he entered my mind cleared of all thoughts except for him
He looks so handsome
I've missed him so much

I got out of my seat and ran up to him
I pushed past anyone who got in my way

He was wearing an outfit that I've never seen him in
I wonder who helped him dress
I smiled at the thought
He put a lot of effort into our date it seemed

When I got close enough, I could see he opened his arms out wide to catch me so I jumped into his arms
I wrapped my own around his neck and held on tight
I took in his firework scent, and closed my eyes at the comfort I found again

He held me in his arms for a few minutes until he set me back down and kissed me

His kiss was hard enough it knocked me back, but his strong arms held onto me so I wouldn't fall

I looked at him when we broke apart and he just looked so, lovely

We walked to the booth and I sat on the inside of the seat

"I'll go get us some butter beers, ok love?" He kissed me again and left to get our drinks

He brought back our beers and sat beside me
He was silently staring at me, and I blushed under his stare
He then took my hand and kissed it gently
  "I've missed seeing you," he said "you look beautiful" he took his other hand and ran it through my long dark hair

I smiled "I've missed seeing you too" I held his hand tightly and leaned into his other hand that stopped to cup my face

"but what took you so long today? I thought I was getting stood up" I said raising my eyebrows and lifting my head from his hand

  "I ran into some trouble on the way, a gift I was bringing you jumped ship and then I had to spend time finding him again" he went into his pocket to fish out my gift

I watched his hand as he took out a Pygmy Puff
  "You got me a puff?!" I said excitingly

  "Whenever you would be at the shop I noticed you would stare or play with them. I'm sure you didn't think anyone was watching, I swear you do the cutest things when you think no one is paying attention" he passed me the puff who opened his eyes and looked right at me. His fur was a few shades of red, my favorite color, and he was so fluffy

He walked from Fred's hand and then sniffed my hand
"Hello Frankie," I said smiling at him

"Frankie?" Fred laughed

  "It's similar to Fred," I said, "it's hard sleeping alone...so maybe if I name him close to yours it'll help"

Fred looked from the Pygmy puff to my eyes
His own looked pained
  "What's been troubling you, my blue-eyed Angel?"

  "I just miss you so much," I said looking at Frankie who was now curled into my hand "I go to bed with a lot of anxiety, I don't usually bring it up because I don't want you or Hermione worrying about me. When my days were hard last year or the years before I could just go to you for comfort but you're far away now and I can't" I pulled the puff up to my heart

  "Two more years and then we can live together again," he said putting a kiss on my head

I nodded my head
  "I love him, by the way"
Frankie moved from my hand and onto my shoulder

Fred smiled
  "I got him to keep you company when you are alone and to have someone to sleep with"

  "I think he'll help," I said petting his little body

  "He was the most gentle one we had, but when I was on my way here he got freaked out by a loud noise and scurried off," he said drinking from his beer, "I think he was just nervous, but I was able to catch him when I talked to him softly"

  "I love him thank you" I gave Fred a kiss "you are always giving me gifts, but you know all I need in my life is you right?"

  "I promised you I would take care of you years ago, mentally physically, and financially. I'm finally able to provide all three for you"

  "I love you"

  "I love you more Love"

We finished our first round of beers, and I offered to get up and get this round but he insisted he would so I let him

  "Frankie we are going to be good friends," I said taking him from my shoulder and placing him into my hands "my name is Electra, and unless it's unsafe for you I will never leave you behind"

He ran around my hands and bounced up and down

I laughed and then Fred came back to our booth

  "I'm glad you two are getting along," he said sitting down and handing me my beer

  "Freddie you said you ran into trouble, but you were 20 minutes late was that the only thing that made you late?"

He paused drinking his beer
  "I walked into Cormac"

I put my beer down and let Frankie sit on my shoulder
  "What happened?"
I could feel my heart race

  "He won't be bothering you again"

  "What did you say to him?"

  "I just made sure he knew what would happen if he continued to harass you" Fred put his beer down and then gently took my hand "He was afraid of me while I was here, and I just wanted to remind him why he should still be"

  "What happened to me kicking his ass?" I said smirking

  "You can still do that, really whenever even if he's doing nothing wrong feel free to" he took a long sip of his drink "don't fault me for this please...you are strong you always have been but I needed to do this. My need to protect you is even worse being far apart"

I squeezed his hand
  "Thank you"
