I was in the bathroom getting ready for Slughorn's party Everyone had to bring dates to the party, and Slughorn wanted the dates to be students that weren't already invited I'm sure he just wants to see if we find anyone interesting for him to collect
Harry beat me to Luna so I asked Seamus if he wanted to go with me We were both seeing someone so I didn't feel like it would bother Fred, and Seamus said Dean didn't care since it was just me
I bought an outfit earlier last year that I never got to wear so I decided it worked well for tonight

I braided my hair on the sides and let the rest of it stay down in a curly pile
I got out of the bathroom and the only one who was in the room was Lavender
"You look wonderful Electra" she said coming closer to look at the dress "Uh who did Hermione ask?"
I looked at her questionably "Not sure"
"Is Ron going?" She said
"Not that I'm aware of..."
She smiled "Have fun" she said and walked down the stairs
That was weird I have noticed her at more quidditch games but I didn't think anything of it until now...
Hermione was dressed and ready downstairs She told me she was taking Zacharias because he begged her He wanted to be in the Slugclub and figured this was his best opportunity to talk to the Professor
Seamus was sitting next to Harry and Neville He had a red rose in his pocket to match my dress
"You look great!" He said getting up
Harry agreed and Ginny told me she needed my help picking out clothing from now on
We all walked to Professor Slughorn's party It was in an unused classroom that was enchanted to look like snow was falling
The room was decorated with Christmas lights and filled with sweets There were cauldrons filled with pumpkin juice, and music playing in the background Nothing spectacular just Christmas tunes
Most of the party was Slughorn meeting the new students who arrived and inviting those he found interesting to his club Zacharias got his wish and was invited to be a part of it I spent most of my night with Luna Ginny and Hermione Harry Neville and Seamus stayed by the food station most of the time talking about quidditch
