Lightning *Fred Weasley love*

Training

The wedding is in a few days and Lupin has decided he will train me on how to master the power I have
After Fred and I slept, he helped me tell the order of my dark mark
His mum cried when she saw it but most the room was silent
Lupin warned us of the trouble it would cause, like how he could summon me at any moment
He agreed that my training needed to happen again, I had to learn to use dark magic or my mind wouldn't be strong enough to hold myself down when he called to me

  "I'm not as good as Snape or Alastor are in the dark arts but I feel confident enough to help you" he said leading me to the barrier of the field in the burrow's backyard

  "Thank you for taking the time to help me" I took out my wand and put it in my left hand "I'm not as good with my left hand, I can do nonverbals wouldn't that work instead?" I asked getting into my stance

  "It will when you learn it better but for now you have to use your wand to pull it out"

I focused on my lightning scar
I could feel heat rising from that point in my arm and I focused on bringing it to the surface

I closed my eyes and then unleashed the power

But it bounced back and burned my arm again
This time it burned all the way up to my shoulder
I grabbed onto my arm and winced out a little
  "Fuck" I said annoyed "why does that keep happening"

Lupin came over to me and asked to see my arm
I let him look at it, he twisted my arm back and forth gently
  "Interesting" he then looked at my bracelet "have you considered taking that off your left arm and putting it on your right?"

I stared at him dumbfounded
  "Why didn't I think of that!"

He smiled
  "The bracelet works to protect you from dark spells and when you are pulling that dark magic it confuses it for an attack. The bracelet is trying to absorb it and so you aren't able to release it completely. It might also help to have it on the same arm as your dark mark, it's possible that if you are being summoned it'll help counter it"

I changed wrist that my bracelet laid on

  "Try again" Lupin went back to the opposite side of the field

I took a deep breath and began pulling the power again
But this time it already felt different...
The power whispered to me
"Hello girl who was born from a storm"

  "Hello" I answered back focusing on holding the power

  "You wish to control me"

  "I do"

  "You were never ready before...but you have suffered a great lose. You your wand and me can now work together"

I felt an enormous amount of power get sent out from my wand
I couldn't control it and was sent flying backwards and hit the burrow
Lupin ran up to me and so did Harry who joined watching halfway through

  "You ok?" Harry asked grabbing for my hand
I went to take his hand and felt a jolt of lightning strike between us "fuck" he said still going for my hand but I refused

  "What was that" I asked quietly

  "What happened this time?" Lupin questioned
I told him about the voice I heard and how it told me I was ready, but when it actually came to surface it was too much for me to handle

  "We should continue training until you are able to hold that power" Lupin said picking me up by my arms
This time I didn't feel anything, it was just with Harry in that moment

Harry went back to sitting on a bench nearby
I looked at my arm and the burn from before was there but nothing new
I didn't get burned this time at least

I practiced for a few hours
The magic coming from my scar bounced me around that field, into a tree into the burrow into decorations for the wedding, but never burned me again

  "That's enough for today" Lupin said coming up to my side and putting his hand on my shoulder

I nodded
  "I'm so sore" I stretched out my arms and winced "and bruised I'm sure"

  "Hey Love dinner is ready" Fred said standing by the back door
He noticed I was walking stiffly and ran up to my side "are you ok?"

  "Yes just a tough day of training" Lupin was behind me using his magic to repair the damage I did to the surrounding area

Fred looked confusingly at the stuff he was repairing but mostly focused on my arm
  "Does it hurt?"

  "A little"

He kissed my wrist all the way up my arm
  "Let's get you some burn potion first"

Dinner was perfect
I had sweet potato casserole that Mrs.Weasley made specially for me
She's been taking it as her job to make sure I'm well fed, since I came back the opposite

  "You look less deathy" George said pilling food onto his plate
I gained 5 lbs the first few days being back and my skin was back to a normal tan since I spent everyday outside
I couldn't stand being inside, I spent too long indoors the last couple of months
I also have been working out as much as I can within the surrounding area, Ginny has been working with me to regain my strength
I was able to transform and run around as vulpes for a little each day but I had to stay within the boundary that Lupin told me about, just in case they needed to apparate to me

  "You too" I smirked "the one ear look works for you, maybe it will become a trend"

He raised his glass and then went back to eating

When dinner was done I helped Mrs.Weasley to clean up, but when I looked outside I saw Harry and Fred talking

Mrs.Weasley shooed me out of the kitchen after I helped for a few minutes, so I walked outside to talk with them

When I opened the door they both stopped talking and looked at me
  "Hi" I said awkwardly

Fred whispered something to Harry and then walked up to me
  "Hello Love" he kissed my cheek "are you tired?"

  "After all that training today yeah, but what were you guys talking about?"

  "It wasn't anything really" Harry said "he was trying to give me back the money I invested into their shop but I refused"

  "Interesting" I doubted that but I let it go for now and followed Fred into the burrow and to the bathroom where we showered together
