I walked into Luna's dad's house right as he was telling them some sort of story
"Hello...Electra Black correct?" He asked "tea??" He gave me a cup while his hands were shaking nervously
"I'm ok thank you though" something seemed off about him, I didn't trust his tea for that reason
Ron whispered to me that he was telling them a story about 'The Deathly Hallows'
Luna's dad, Xenophilius, continued telling the story on what the symbol he wore meant
The elder want
The invisibility cloak
The resurrection stone
All three items make you the master of death
When his story ended Xenophilius got up from his seat at the table, looked outside, and then sat back down again nervously
"Sir where is Luna?" I asked curiously "it's Christmas vacation isn't it?"
He looked outside again
"She went back early"
"I'm surprised you didn't keep her home with everything going on" I said suspiciously
He tapped his finger on the table
"Yeah...tea??" He offered me the same cup
"No I said I'm ok...but are you?"
Ron got closer to me and Hermione, we were sitting across from Luna's dad and Harry was looking outside the window now trying to figure out what he was looking for
"They took her..." he said softly
"Took who? Who took her?" Hermione asked
"They told me to stop writing in the paper...they told me they would take her I didn't listen. Luna is gone...the ministry took her and wouldn't tell me where they put her"
"I'm sorry Sir" I said going to grab his hand but he pulled back
"They told me if I found Harry and you they would return her to me..."
Ron was pulling Hermione and I out of our seats and behind him
"So what are you going to do?" He demanded
"I'm sorry" he said
"Duck!!" Harry yelled
Ron grabbed Hermione and I and threw us under the table we were just sitting at
Spells came flying into the house and exploded the area around us
I could hear apparation cracking outside
"The ministry is here please go with them!!" Xenophilius yelled but Harry grabbed my arm while Ron grabbed Hermione's and we all ran up stairs as more spells hit the walls around us shattering pots and picture frames on shelves
"That asshole!" Ron yelled when we got upstairs "he sold us out! When did he even have the time to contact them?!"
"We need to apparate out now" Harry said
Voices could be heard downstairs now
"Where is Potter and Black?! You said you had them"
"They're upstairs I promise please return Luna to me please"
"You've called us here multiple times before what makes today different?? You'll be lucky if you ever see your daughter again"
"We can't leave yet" I said
Harry and Ron looked confused
"We need them to see we were here, Luna is in danger" Hermione added "you trust me correct?"
We nodded
"With our lives" Ron added
She put her hands out for Ron to grab and myself, I then grabbed Harry's hand and his other one grabbed Ron's
Hermione let go of mine momentarily to blow up the floor below us and we went crashing into the main room with ministry workers and Luna's dad
"Potter!! Black!!" Voices yelled
Hermione apparated before any of them could catch us
We landed in a forest, hills all around us and trees tall enough to never reach the top
I started to shake off debris that covered my body when Fred's voice filled my head
"What's going on?" He asked nervously "I felt anxiety coming through my locket"
"Luna's dad sold us out to the ministry because Luna has been taken...we got out we're fine and safe but I feel awful for the Lovegood family"
"I shouldn't have brought you there I should have kept you with me"
"I'm ok Fred, we both knew I would be going back into danger when we parted, have trust in me that I will survive no matter what"
"I trust you, I just wish I didn't have to leave you in other's protection"
"What did you say to Ron?"
"I told him he needed to start acting right and if he put you in unnecessary danger again I would be sure to show him what true rage looked like"
"Dramatic much?" I laughed
"Me? Never. I'm putting my trust in him and Harry, he needed to know I was serious"
"I have to go help put up protection shields, I love you I will talk to you tonight"
"I love you more be safe"
"I can't believe he sold us out" Ron said setting up the tent
"I don't blame him, Luna is in danger. Parents will do anything to keep their kids safe..." thoughts of my dad's death entered my mind but I focused on helping with protection spells
"I'm sorry" Ron said knowing where my mind went
I nodded my head and finished up with my work
I had gone out with Harry to find fish in a lake close by to our tent
We found 4 big fish in total, now that I am able to talk to Fred and I've seen that he's ok I can eat fully again
He's safe he promised me he wouldn't die
"We have one of the deathly hallows, so the story is true?" I said sitting down eating with the group
"I think he's just as loony as Luna" Ron said
"But we have proof it's real" I said pointing to the cloak "do you think he's looking for the wand?"
Harry jumped up
"Of course!! That's what my visions have been, he's searching for the wand he wants the most powerful wand in existence"
"I wonder where the stone is" Ron said "I don't think he needs that in his possession"
"Imagine being able to see your loved ones again..." I looked to Harry who just like me has suffered from great loss
"It's not healthy to bring back the dead" Hermione said looking at me "they deserve the rest they have" she squeezed my hand and I nodded my head
