"I wonder what Harry is up too..." I said sitting across from Hermione who was doing homework
"Hopefully what he's suppose to be doing" she said "I'm sure the potion will grant him what he needs to get but he should have just gone straight to Slughorn"
I shrugged
"Let Felix decide that I suppose" i got up "I'm going to the owlery to remail a letter to Whiskers want to come again?"
"No I'll stay here, don't get into trouble" she side-eyed me
"I won't" I said smirking
I was on my way to the owlery when I heard something large open
It was the room of requirements
I stood outside of it, and wondered who could be using it right now
I doubt it was anyone from our D.A class last year
Just as I was thinking about classes a door appeared
I looked around the hall and noticed I was alone
I opened the door and walked in
The room was filled with odd items
Random shelves were placed on top of couches and mattresses
This looks like a junk room
I walked down a trail that was cleared and looked at each item I passed by
Some looked familiar
Old cages for creatures in transfigurations
Old textbooks that were falling apart
Definitely a junk room
"Fuck why won't you work!!!" I heard Draco yelling and slamming things around the room
"Draco?" I called our questionably
Silence
"Draco...?" I started walking towards the center of the room
When I got to the center I looked around
I saw a cabinet that had burn marks on it but didn't look out of place here
I saw some glass scattered around the floor though
I went to pick up the glass when I heard footsteps race for me
"What the hell are you doing here?! Weren't Crabbe and Goyle outside guarding??" Draco yelled standing in front of me now blocking my view of the mess he made
"No one was out there and the door just opened for me...are you ok?" I asked standing up and going closer to him
He backed away
"I'm fine" he covered his arm
"Draco are you in trouble?" I asked concerned
He scoffed
"You wouldn't understand"
"Try me" I said crossing my arms over my chest
"If I told you...they would..." he hesitated.
He then looked at the ground "I won't let anyone get involved" he began pushing me back to the door "please leave Electra"
"Can I just know one thing?" I asked letting him push me back
He stopped moving me
"Did you actually want to be my friend?" I said quietly
He let his hand drop from my back
"I wanted to be your friend more than you know"
I turned around
"What's stopping us from being friends?"
He looked to his arm, and then to my face
"Things out of our control. I have no choice, but you do so please chose to leave me alone"
He began pushing me again but lighter this time
"I wanted to be your friend too" I said
We both stopped at the door entrance
"Can we be when you're ok again?" I asked
He was silent
"If you're in trouble let me help you please"
"Why would you want to?" He asked
"My dad talked highly of your aunt Andromeda, he was close with her. I'm an only child too, and would love to be close with you"
"You're staying out of it because I want what's best for you" he opened the door "but when this is over...I'd like that"
I walked to the owlery, and mailed the letter.
I can't tell anyone about my encounter with Draco
Harry will lose it, well Ron would too
Hermione would tell me I'm naive to be near him
Fred would be worried for my safety and so would my dad
But maybe I can talk to Dumbledore
I walked from the owlery and towards Dumbledore's office
I tried multiple candy passwords but none worked
"Fuck" I said quietly giving up
"It's fizzing whizzbees" a voice said behind me
I turned and it was Peeves
"Why would you want to help me?" I asked
"I liked Fred, you're ok too I guess" he said flying up
I smiled and went to walk up the stairs that showed when I said the password but got hit with water balloons instead
"Peeves I thought we were cool" I said laughing
"Doesn't mean I can't have my fun still" he disappeared behind a wall after saluting me
Dumbledore was alone in his office when I got there
"Hello Miss.Black is everything ok?" He was petting his Phoenix
"For me yes but I'm concerned for another student..." I said walking over to Fawkes
"Draco I presume?"
I stared at him questionably
"What made you say that?"
"I had a feeling" he sat down at his desk and ushered me to sit in front of it
"I don't know what's happened to him this year but he looks...unwell" I fidgeted with my thumbs
"I can assure you I have a Professor keeping an eye on him" he took out some licorice and offered me some
I declined
"I'm worried"
"You are a good person so of course you are, but I am handling things so please don't fret. Have you began your lessons with Professor Snape?"
"He told me to meet him this weekend, he's busy he said to me when I asked why it was so late in the week"
"That he is. So please be patient with him"
I nodded and got out of my seat
"Thank you for your time Professor"
He nodded back
"Electra dear"
I turned
"Congratulations on the proposal"
I smiled
"Thank you Professor"
