I reached the lake, snow was all over the ground and the water was frozen. It was cold enough to see my breath, and I was shivering from my walk here.
I looked around to be sure I was alone and I was. Not even Hagrid was near me, the cold kept most away from being out here for too long especially during lunch

I transformed into my form, and took off trying to find my dad. He has taken camp at that cave we were lead to originally, but he might not be there during the day. I told myself I would wait till after the holidays to talk about this, but I need answers now.

I searched for what felt like hours, but couldnt find him.
So I decided to wait in his cave for him to show up, I'm missing divination class right now but I'll just make up an excuse for why i was missing. Professor Trelawney will understand if I tell her the stars were telling me I needed to miss class, she's easy to fool

As time went on, I began to worry. Though I don't know where he goes when I'm not here, I can't help but fear he isn't safe.

Finally I could smell him close by, I sprinted to where he was and found him carrying a bird

"Electra? Is everything ok? Sorry this is my dinner I didn't plan for two" he laughed

"I just needed to talk to you, I'm scared of myself dad."

"Let's go to the cave and I'll share my bird with you"

"Don't be silly I'll eat in the castle I wouldn't want you to have to share your only meal with me, I can start bringing things from the kitchen to you if you'd like?"

"No it's alright, this keeps me active"

We walked together to the cave, it was twilight out. I have missed another class, Astronomy. I'll find an excuse for that too

"Dad, can you tell me about our family history?"

"Why would you want to know a depressing thing like that?" He laughed

"My boggart in class, it turned into a dark version of myself. I'm afraid that I'll be a dark wizard"

He paused
"My sweet dear, you aren't a dark wizard, you have heart they don't. I left our family when I was younger because I too wasn't cut out to be a dark wizard, I wanted a better life for myself. I left and James's family took me in, they became my family. We have a dark history, and if it will help you I will teach it to you" he said as he put his bird down

Then my brother Regulus Black, was a follower of his as well. But he renounced his loyalty and died because of it. The blacks are known for their involvement in the first wizard war, being for the dark side. I know you have fears of becoming that too, but you won't. I know the Wealsey's didn't raise a dark wizard. I left you with them instead of risking the ministry leaving you with my cousins, so you would grow up good.
