End Game Part 7

Another week went by of us hanging out in the house
Four death eaters stood by outside this time, they looked in front of themselves and behind
They can't think we'd be dumb enough to leave through the front door

"I think I know how we're going to get into the ministry" Hermione said eating an apple Kreacher grabbed for us from the market yesterday

"I'm all ears" Harry said lounging in a dining room chair

"We need to go spy on ministry workers and see if we can get their routine down, and then take polyjuice to transform into them and sneak into Umbridge's office and grab the locket"

"I mean it sounds good enough to me, should we split up though? Not all of us need to spy on workers"

Hermione nodded her head
"I think Ron and I will go and Electra you and Harry should stay behind"

"No I'll go" Harry said annoyed that she would ask him to stay

"You and Electra are front page, you'll get noticed easier than Ron or I" she said passing us the prophet that Kreacher picked up for us as well
The front page had a wanted poster for both of us
Ministry's Most Wanted

"Harry, lend them the invisibility cloak and let them go. She's right if the cloak fell off somehow we would be captured right away, Hermione and Ron wouldn't even know because we have no way of contacting them"

"I'll go with Ron, you two stay here" Harry said "final offer"

I rolled my eyes alongside Hermione
"Harry if you get caught—" Hermione began to lecture Harry but he grabbed his cloak and Ron's hand and went to the backyard to apparated to the center of London

"He's so stubborn" I said sitting back down

"I know" she huffed "Electra you've been looking healthier, ironically since we're stuck here. But you've put on all the weight you lost it seems"

I smiled
"Thank you for saying that" I played with my ring on my finger "some days it feels like I'm stuck in the manor again...except I have you Harry and Ron instead of Draco and his mother. I just want to get outside...do you think Snape told the death eaters that I am a fox Animagus?"

"More than likely"

We sat around and played cards while we waited for the guys to get back
We didn't discuss how long they would be watching for, it could be till tomorrow knowing Ron but knowing Harry he will want to act tomorrow and not the next day

Hours later and it was still just the two of us
"Hermione" I said braiding her hair "I wish Ron would step up and ask you out already, we all know you two are meant to be"

She blushed
"Maybe after the war we can discuss it, I don't want to start something and make it seem like it's just because of a war"

I put my head in front of hers
"No one would think that, we all had a bet you know, on when Ron would ask you out"

She laughed
"Who's winning?"

I smiled
"Fred and I so far, George lost technically the beginning of the school year" I sat in front of her "I can't tell you what Fred or I bet on, that would be cheating...but if you could hurry it up I would appreciate it"

A crack happened outside and then the back door flung open
Harry and Ron were looking outside the back window and I ran to the front to see if any of the death eaters were moving
Two did, two stayed

"Harry there are two on the move"

"Yeah I see them" he said back

"They can't get in right?" Ron said

"No the house is still invisible to them. I'm sure they heard the crack and ran to see if we showed up" I said to Ron going back to my seat

"What did you find out?" Hermione asked "and did you find suitable workers for us to change into?"

Harry nodded
"I found three that would work for us, but as for information it was tough. We saw when they arrived and when they left nothing more"

"Three?" Hermione asked annoyed "Harry there is four of us"

"Electra is the smallest of us all I figured she could use the cloak" Harry said back handing me the cloak to use

"Im fine with that"

"Hermione I saw an female you could turn into named Mafalda Hopkirk, Ron will turn into a man named Cattermole I didn't see his first name and I will use the identity of a man named Runcorn. Runcorn seemed feared by most, Ron even said his dad hated him so I figured no one would bother him or better death eaters would talk to him and we would find information that way"

"Ok so we are doing this...?" Hermione asked checking her bag for the potion

"Tomorrow we can't wait any longer" Harry said

"I have polyjuice potion so we will have no problem transforming, we just need to secure the bodies and place them somewhere no one would find them or at least until we returned"

I let the cloak down on the dining chair walked to the 3rd floor of the house

"You ok?" Ron called up noticing I left

"I want to go talk to my parents" I said back

No one followed me or called up to me after that
So I walked up to the 3rd floor and went into the attic room
When my dad had buckbeak in his care he used to let him sleep here because the roof of the room was completely glass
He was released after his death by Lupin
No one would have been able to care for him like my dad did, it was the humane answer to let him be free
The stars shined brightly and so did the full moon

I didn't have to search long to find my parents stars, they always shine bright when I'm looking for them

"Hi dad, hi mum" I played with my charms "I miss you"

The stars winked
"A war is coming...I'm terrified to lose anymore people I care for. I can't deal with more loss...I don't think I can handle that it will be what finally breaks me"

The stars dimmed
"I wish I could talk to you and get advice, Fletcher stoke from your house dad I beat his face in for you though"

The star Sirius brightly shinned and I laughed
"But I've also gotten closer to Kreacher which I never thought would happen...he loved my uncle so much and I asked him to follow me to my new home when it's built he seemed to like that idea. I didn't tell you last time but I found notes from Lily Potter, Harry and I got to spend a special moment together reading those letters"

Both stars shined again
"I love you both so much. Please keep looking after me, I'm going to need it for what we have going on. Send me some luck tomorrow ok?"

Both stars blinked rapidly and then settled down
I stayed in the attic all night until sleep took over and Harry was knocking the next morning

"It's time" he said opening the door
