Lightning *Fred Weasley love*

Year 6 Part 21

A week had passed since the attack on the burrow and the minister showing up
I have been moving back and forth between the burrow, my dad's house and the loft
Almost every day I'm at a different location

Dumbledore said it would be safer for me to be moved around and Harry was doing the same except for the loft
Fred and George worked together to make it as protected as the burrow and my dad's house but that was only for me to go to
Harry had the option of his aunt and uncle's house since it was protected with ancient magic but for obvious reasons he declined

I was at my dad's house currently, we were going through old pictures of my mom and the Potters with Harry
My dad told Harry stories about how him James Remus and Peter wouldn't be caught without one another
They did everything together but my dad was closest to James

"Your dad took me in during my 5th year in school" my dad said handing Harry a photo of his dad and my dad on the quidditch field "I hated my family, all but my brother Regulus Electra you would have loved your Uncle" he looked at me and I smiled "I denounced my family name, and planned to live in the woods until I could get enough money myself to get a place to live. James said that was ridiculous and he brought me to his house, your grandparents took me in right away. They reminded me a lot of The Weasleys"

"What made living with them so bad?" I asked

My dad never talked about his family, and I never ask for that reason
"They believed the world would be better with pure bloods, in their minds it's the purest form of magic. The only Gryffindor in a family of Slytherins, I'm sure you know how well my first day back home went" he passed me a photo of my mum "even better when I told them I was in love with Nova. They called her a creature and told me that was the last time I would disgrace them, I told them I was denouncing my name and that's when I went off on my own" he passed a photo of James to Harry "your father was my first friend at Hogwarts. James and I were reckless together, Remus was the more responsible one and Peter well...he was different. We added him to our friend group but something changed with him during the last year we were there and the three of us distanced ourselves from him. Not a day goes by that I don't miss James, Lily of course...and well Nova"

My dads eyes were filled with sorrow for who he's lost, I moved over from my spot on the ground and hugged him tightly

  "I still have you two, and Remus. You three are my reasons for living"

  "What's the story behind this photo?" Harry asked picking up a photo that had Lily and my mum laughing at James and my dad scrubbing the floors in the west wing

My dad smiled
  "James and I got caught pranking Filch by Professor McGonagall, she gave us a nasty detention with him. Your mothers thought it was hilarious and Remus documented it. The three of them told us we would get caught, but we didn't care"

  "Who's this?" I asked pointing to a photo of my dad with an unknown boy

  "Your uncle Regulus...we grew up being very close to each other, but he was sorted in Slytherin and we grew apart. In his 7th year Lucius Malfoy convinced him to become a death eater and he followed his orders until he tried to get out years later. Voldemort doesn't let his followers leave alive"

I looked from my dad to the corner of the room and saw Kreacher the house elf of the Black family listening to the story
He looked sad

  "Honestly Electra there isn't anyone in our family who I would have wanted you to meet other than him, and our Cousin Andromeda. She is Tonk's mother and Bellatrix's sister"

"Why haven't I met her yet?" I asked curiously

My dad shrugged
  "We can next summer if you'd like? You already enjoy Tonk's company, I have no doubt you'd like her mother. She was denounced from the family as well, for marrying a muggle born wizard. We both chose to live the lives we wanted and not what our parents wished. Narcissa and Bellatrix both married for title and not for love. I do believe Narcissa loves Draco, but her love for Lucius isn't the same that I shared with your mother or what Ted and Andromeda have. Bellatrix married to please the family but that was all, she has no love in her heart"

  "Look" Harry said picking up a picture of two babies together

My dad smiled
  "You and Electra as babies. We wanted you two to grow up together, and be close like we all were. We actually thought you two would fall in love" I gagged and Harry laughed "but" my dad said laughing "you two have a sibling relationship which is better than you two being together romantically. I love you both so much" he pulled us together for a group hug

We ate dinner together, and Lupin rejoined the household halfway through it, he was off hiding for his transformation most of the week.

After dinner I said goodbye to my dad Lupin and Harry and called to Fred through my mind warning him that I was on my way

I waved to them and then apparated to Diagon Alley

  "Hello Love" Fred said meeting me at the spot I apparated to

  "Hi Freddie" I said, Frankie came out my pocket and jumped for Fred

  "Woah there Frankie" Fred said catching him and then holding my hand "Let's go quickly before anyone sees you"

We entered the loft and Fred checked all the protection spells to make sure they were still in place
He did this every night I came by

  "Where's George?" I asked sitting down on the couch

  "On a date he won't be here for the night but he'll be here to see you off tomorrow before you head back to school" Fred put Frankie downstairs with the other puffs for company, and then he came upstairs to see me

  "So we're alone" I said smirking

  "Seems that way" he said smirking back
