Morning came faster than I had hoped
I woke up before Fred, which was typical of us
I saw how his eyes were relaxed and his jaw was too, his body was free from tensions
I lifted the blanket to give him a morning surprise which ended with us making love again, and again
I couldn't get enough of him
I never will
"I don't want you to leave" he said laying his head on my breasts "I'm terrified you won't come back"
I played with his firey red hair, longer than it was the last time I saw him
"I will come back I promise. If I'm in danger I will contact you" I kissed the top of his head "Freddie there is nowhere that I feel safer than with you, but I can't stay"
"I know" he sighed "I'm glad you still have your ring" he said
"It's one of my most prized possessions"
We stayed in each other's embrace until Lee called us out for breakfast
We got dressed and headed out of the bedroom
Fred picked my outfit out, fleece leggings and a thick winter jacket
He packed me a bag filled with extra clothing for when it got warmer out, I lost my other bag in the forest when before I apparated here
He also packed water and food for me too, enough to last me for a month
He told me he hoped I would be back by then to resupply my bag
I ate breakfast with the three of them and when I was done I hugged George and Lee tightly
"Stay safe please" Lee said kissing the top of my head
"Don't get yourself killed...I need my little sister to stay alive" George messed up my hair and then gave me a kiss on the top of my head too
"I love you guys"
Right before we were about to leave my arm started burning again
This time the pain was the worse it's been
I fell over screaming
The three guys huddled around me, I couldn't move I was in so much pain
"What's going on??" Fred asked concerned "Electra what hurts??"
"M-my arm" I said through clenched teeth
Fred continued to rub my back and explained to George and Lee what was going on
"Fight it" George said encouragingly
"Stay with us" Fred said never taking his hand off of me "don't let him take you"
It took a while but the pain ceased again
"It's never been...that bad" I said opening my eyes again
"What does that mean?" Fred asked concerned "is it hard to fight against it?"
I nodded my head
"Maybe you should stay" Lee suggested
"I can't" I said softly "I wish I could though" I looked into Fred's eyes and he was so worried I could tell
Fred apparated me to Luna's dad's house after my body stopped seizing
I knew it was hard for him, especially seeing how the dark mark affects me again
It was close to the burrow that's the only reason why he knew where they lived
We landed and I looked around our surroundings
Flowers were blooming everywhere and covering the ground was tall grass swaying in the breeze
I looked towards her dad's house and walking up was the three of them
Harry Hermione and Ron
"Hey!!" I yelled
They wiped their heads around
"Electra?!" Hermione yelled running for me
Harry and Ron did the same
Hermione jumped onto me and gave me the longest hug out of all three of them
"We were so worried when Ron showed up without you" she looked at Fred "hi Fred!"
"Hey" he said to everyone and then glared at Ron "we need to talk"
Ron gulped and walked over to Fred who grabbed him by his collar and started to whisper things into his ear
"You went to Diagon Alley? How was security?" Harry asked
"Really tight I almost got caught when I went there the other day, but I went to visit my dad's grave and then Fred showed me his passage underground that the death eaters didn't know about"
"You went to Godric's Hollow too?" Hermione questioned
I nodded my head
"When did you go?"
"Day before Christmas" Harry said
"I went the day after Christmas. We just missed each other I suppose. Did you guys learn anything while I was away?"
Hermione pulled out the sword of Gryffindor from her bag
"We found this and destroyed the locket"
I gasped
"Brilliant!! How did you find it?!"
Harry quickly explained how they found it and what happened when they destroyed the locket
Hermione explained how Ron found them again and told me that was the reason Dumbledore left him his tool
"How did you know where to find us?" Harry asked
"Lee and George were talking about how Luna's dad was a big support of yours, and then I remember the symbol you talked about at the wedding and how her dad had a necklace with it on. I thought you might show up here so we waited till today to show up"
"I'm glad we're back together...but are you sure it's a good idea to leave Fred? I don't blame you if you want to stay with him now that you've been reunited" Hermione said holding my hand now
I looked at Fred who just finished scolding Ron about getting me into danger
He's so protective
"He knows I have a job to do. I'll go back to him when it's over, and we can finally be together again"
Fred came up to me
"We're going to talk to her dad, see you there?" Harry suggested
I nodded and watched as they left us alone to speak
Fred gently grabbed my hands and kissed each one of them softly
"Well we found your group" he said sadly
"Yeah...we did" I said equally as sad
We stared at each other, his eyes were filling with pain but he was being strong for me
If he asked me to stay I would
I would abandon this quest and stay with him until it was over
I would be safe and he would be too
Neither one of us would have to suffer being separated any longer
But he knew that, he knew if he asked me I would.
So he didn't ask me
"Its taking a lot for me to let you go" he said pulling me into his chest "every instinct I have is telling me to grab you and go back home. But I won't do that to you, you have a goal to finish and I respect that" he kissed my forehead and then my lips "promise me you'll stay alive"
"I promise. Promise me you'll stay alive too?"
I kissed him deeply back
"I promise"
"Leaving you is the hardest thing I'll ever do" I said pulling his sweater into my hands
"Likewise"
"I love you" I said pulling away and looking into his eyes, his beautiful brown eyes
"I love you more" he said "back to blue I see, I'm glad I got you to that bright colored gold while I had you in my arms though"
He kissed me passionately and then he disapparated back to the loft
Leaving me behind to finish the goal I started
The wind blew passed me and with it came a chill that sent shivers down my spin
Without Fred everything feels colder
I took a deep breath and began my walk to Luna's dad's house
