Year 6 Part 31

  "What's happening?? Electra??"

I could feel panic coming from the bracelet but I was running now towards the commotion

I hit the cloud of black smoke and lost my sense of direction in it
The smoke was scattered all along the 7th floor, I tried feeling for a wall but I was walking around blind

   "Electra answer me what is going on"

  "Death eaters"

I found a wall after putting my hands out long enough
I followed it all the way down the hallway where I heard spells being tossed and bodies falling

I ran while holding the wall, hoping I wouldn't bump into anyone I didn't want to run into

I found a corner and continued my walk down it, screams added to the sounds of explosions and spells

I could feel my heart racing but I wouldn't let myself panic I had to defend myself

I picked up my pace listening for familiar voices
I could hear Lupin and Tonk's
Fred got my message out
I heard Kingsley and Moody as well

I heard them yelling at students to run for it and I felt vibrations from spells flying through the air

I then heard Neville yell and then a thump
Please don't be dead Neville please...

I ran
I ran faster than I've ever gone before
If I didn't have to hold onto this wall the whole time I'd be in the fight already

I ran so fast that I didn't realize I was out of the black smoke and into the firing zone

I saw Tonks hit a death eater with a stunning spell and I saw Moody get thrown across the hallway
I saw my dad fighting alongside Lupin, they were getting blasted with spells but they dodged them with ease
My heart almost exploded when I saw Fred and George here with Kingsley, George got hit with a spell knocking him down the stairs, Fred shot the death eater with a stunning spell and then raced for George who was still falling down the stairs

I went to go join the fight when someone pulled me into an empty classroom
I tried to scream but whoever it was covered my mouth

  "Electra please shhh" Draco said as he released me "listen to me and don't interrupt"

I stared at him

  "You need to leave, things are going to happen tonight that I've been told to complete and I don't want you anywhere near it...they are here to make sure I complete the goal Voldemort gave me, but they are also here to take you"

I could feel my hands begin to sweat

   "You have something they want they wouldn't tell me, but whatever it is you CANT BE CAUGHT" he was shaking me now "please listen to me and leave Hogwarts right now find somewhere safe"

An explosion happened and the wall holding the room we were in was blasted away

Draco looked at me and then looked at the missing wall
He gave me a hug and then ran off

  "Draco!!" I yelled back but whoever blasted the wall started sending spells my way

Shots of green were thrown to me but my bracelet was working again and the spells bounced off
I hit him with a stunning spell and then ran out of the classroom
My dad and Fred were no longer in the hallway so I ran
To where I wasn't sure but I ran

I needed to find them

  "Where are you Electra?"

I don't know how Fred knew I was looking for him but he must have sensed it

  "The 7th floor where are you?"

  "That's where all the heavy fighting is come to the 5th floor please, George is unconscious he was hit with a spell that knocked him down the stairs I need you to be close—"

I heard a loud crack coming from above me and the floor was about to cave in
I jumped out of the way, scrapping my arm on all the debris crowding the floor

  "Are you ok??"

  "Fred I have to go be safe"

  "No Electra!" He yelled but I put my shield up all the way
I couldnt have Fred distracting me, I needed to focus

I heard a death eater say
  "It's going to happen at the Astronomy tower they're already there hurry"

Who's there
Where are Hermione and Ron
Or Harry and Dumbledore...is that who's at the tower?

I sent stunning spells at the two death eaters who were running towards the Astronomy tower, they went down
I jumped over their bodies and raced for the tower

While running I saw Ginny and Luna dueling death eaters along side Seamus and Dean. I sent silent prayers their way hoping and pleading noone I loved would be dead by the end of this nightmare

I got to the Astronomy tower and there wasn't anyone blocking the way up
I slowly began walking up, I could hear voices talking to each other
One sounded like Dumbledore the other was definitely Draco

Where's Harry...

  "Tell me Draco how did you do it?" Dumbledore was asking

I walked slowly up the stairs, trying my best to not make a sound

  "Vanishing cabinet in the room of requirements" he said

Harry was right and I'm never going to live that down

  "But there has to be two of those for transporting people" Dumbledore was stalling

  "Borgin and Burke's has the other one"

I was close enough to the top of the stairs that I could see Dumbledore wandless and Draco with his wand facing him

I took a deep breath and listened further

  "Get on with it Draco, you've been sent to kill me haven't you?"

I could have sworn I stopped breathing

Draco wasn't moving he was just staring at Dumbledore
His hand began to shake, he started to drop his wand

He's not going to do it..he doesn't want to

  "You're not a killer Draco" Dumbledore said walking closer to him

Draco lifted his wand again
  "You don't know anything about me"
