"I'm sorry, but who the hell are the Mikaelson's?" I asked, completely confused why they would matter.
Stefan nodded, probably understanding that I had no idea who these people were.
"They are the original family," Stefan answered.
I made an 'o' with my mouth. "Like the OG vamps. That's cool. Are they having a meet and greet," I said joking.
No one seemed to laugh. I mean, Damon smirked. At least I got that. I looked at Bonnie. She did not seemed please with my jokes.
"So, why are they here? And how does that affect us?" I asked.
"We don't know yet. But my friend, Rose, mentioned that they'd be in town," Damon said.
I nodded and smiled. "Well, I'll keep an eye out for them at the Mystic Grill," I said, saluting to them with a smirk.
Bonnie shook her head. "No you aren't. You just beat your darkness. There is no way you are leaving already," Bonnie argued.
I groaned. "What the hell? I can't do anything around here," I complained.
"I'll keep an eye on her," Stefan said.
I looked up from my stare at the ground and smiled. "See, Stefan will come with me."
Bonnie rolled her eyes. I looked at Elena. Her face showed jealousy. Why? Was there something going on I didn't know about?
"Fine, but Stefan, if you lose her I will kill you myself," Bonnie warned.
I smiled at Bonnie's protectiveness. "Calm down there, Bon Bon," Damon interrupted.
Bonnie rolled her eyes and sighed. I stood up and walked past them all.
"Why can't I drive?" I asked Stefan.
We were in his car, as he drove us to the grill. I have been complaining ever since I got in the car.
"Because, Kylie. This is my car," Stefan argued.
I sighed. "Ugh, proves my point of not being able to do anything even more."
He looked at me and shook his head. "Fine then."
I looked at him confused. "Fine then?" I asked.
"I was gonna leave you be at the grill. Not anymore," Stefan said smirking.
I punched his arm. "That isn't fair. I didn't know. I promise I won't complain anymore. Please, Stefan."
"Mmm, fine. Just because I tolerate you. Otherwise, it'd be a no."
I looked at Stefan and rolled my eyes. How dare he? Because I tolerate you. Who says that?
We pulled up to the grill and I got out. Before I could close the door, Stefan spoke up.
"I'll be back in a few hours."
I looked at him and smiled. "Okay, thanks, Stefan. See you later."
I just the door and turned around, heading into the grill. I went up to the bar and sat down.
"Hey, Kylie," Matt said.
I looked at him and smiled. "Hey, Matt. Could I have a water?" I asked.
He smiled. "Of course. What about you sir?" He asked to someone next to me.
I turned to see a blonde haired boy. He turned to me and smiled. Then he faced Matt.
"A glass of bourbon, please," the boy said with a British accent.
He turned back to me and smiled. "What is your name, love?" He asked.
"Kylie, and who are you?" I asked with a raised brow.
He smirked. "I'm Klaus. I'm new here, and figured this was a good place to meet new people. I guess I was right," Klaus said.
I smiled and nodded. "This was one of my first places too. I'm new here also."
He smiled. "Oh really? Interesting."
Matt came back and handed me my water, and handed Klaus his bourbon.
"Thanks, Matt," I said.
He smiled. "Of course, Kylie," he said before walking away.
"How long have you been here? You seem to know people," Klaus said.
I turned to him and took a sip of my water. "A week or so. Not too long. How about you? Are you new new or like older new?"
He laughed. "Complicated question. I just moved here this week with my family," he said.
I almost spit back out the water I had just drank. Is he a Mikaelson? Do I ask?
"Have a question, love? You seem to be in thought," he asked, worry in his voice.
"Uh, yes. This may sound weird, but are you by chance a Mikaelson?"
I looked down at my water, waiting for my neck to break. But it didn't.
"Well, may I ask you a question? Are you a Bennett?" He asked.
I looked up in shock. How would he even suspect that?
"How?," is all I managed to spit out.
"I've heard of you. A very powerful witch you are. And you don't even know. Why do you think I'm here?" Klaus asked.
"So you are," I said, turning away from him.
He took a sip of his bourbon, as I turned back to him.
"I'm I some kind of pawn in your little game?" I asked.
He smirked. "We just met, and you already have a sharp tongue," Klaus joked.
"What do you need me for? That's all I want to know."
He looked into my eyes, staring for a moment. Then he smiled at me.
"I need you to help me perform a spell."
