I was not dealing with this. Klaus lied to my face. He said he only needed her blood, but Elena says he wants her dead.
I pulled out my phone, searching for Klaus's contact. I didn't like making deals with the devil, but haven't tried dancing with one.
                              "Klaus Mikaelson," I began.
                              "Yes, love?" He said.
I wasn't lying when I said he was hot. I had a problem with stating my opinion out loud.
"You said you only needed Elena's blood. You lied," I said.
He didn't respond for a moment. But then I heard a sigh.
"For some reason, I feel I can no longer lie to you. I do need Elena's blood, but I need all of it. She has to die in the spell. Then I will be freed from my curse and be able to make hybrids," Klaus explained.
"So, you lied to me, so I could kill my best friend, so you could make your little minions?" I questioned.
"I didn't mean to lie. I just- I knew you wouldn't help me if I told you the truth."
"And what makes you think it would change now?" I asked.
"I don't know. But please meet me at the grill still. I'll be waiting."
I sighed. "I might be there," I said before hanging up.
I looked back towards the house. I was outside taking a walk so no one would hear me.
I felt bad about lying to them. But I wanted to get to the bottom of this. Why is Klaus being so nice to me if he wants to kill my best friend?
I walked back into the house. I entered the kitchen for a glass of water. Maybe that would help me.
"What are you up to, Little Bennett?" Damon asked.
I turned around to face him, slightly confused what he was aiming for.
"What am I up to?" I asked. "Sneaking water from your kitchen. Now it isn't really sneaking," I said.
Damon smirked and laughed, for like a second. Then he looked back at me.
"Why'd you go for a walk?" He asked.
I sighed. "Finding out your best friend might die due to some vamp is scary."
He nodded. "Yeah. I understand that. But who were you talking to on the phone?" He questioned.
Oh, no. Did he know? Umm, I can lie my way out of this. Breathe, Kylie, breathe.
"Stacy, my social worker. She was checking up on me," I said.
He nodded. "Makes since. Everyone is in the living room, Little Bennett," he said before walking off.
I took a deep breath and sighed. That was a close one. Now, how do I go to the grill without being caught.
I had one answer to my own question. It was a simple answer too. Stefan.
"Hey, Stefan, can I talk to you?" I asked, walking into the living room.
                              He nodded. "Yeah sure."
He got up and followed me outside. Once we were a ways away from the house, I turned to him.
                              "I need a favor," I said.
                              He sighed. "What is it?"
I took a deep breath. I really needed one. "I need to meet someone at the grill at 6. Could you help me get there?" I asked.
He raised a brow. "Who?" He asked.
                              "I can't tell you. I wish I could, but I can't."
He sighed. "Is it a Mikaelson?"
Damn it. He was on to me. Ok, Kylie, be brave.
"Yes. But this is important. I have to go," I argued.
"Fine, but I want to know who it is, and what they want," Stefan said.
I sighed. "Maybe. It depends. I don't want to ruin what I have going."
He nodded. "Fine. Let me go tell them we are going out to meet up with Stacy. I'll be back."
I nodded and headed towards his car. I got in and buckled up, waiting for him to return. When he did, I let out a sigh of relief.
"I'm only leaving you for 2 hours. Text me if you need anything," he said.
I nodded. "Of course. And thank you, Stefan. I appreciate all you do for me."
He looked at me and smiled. Then he started the car and off we went to the grill.
"Goodbye, Stefan," I said, shutting the car door.
I turned around and walked into the grill. I made my way to the bar and smiled as I met Matt's gaze.
                              "Back so soon," he said.
I laughed. "Yeah, kinda have a date," I replied.
I smiled to myself. I know it wasn't a date, but a girl can dream.
"Is it with that blonde guy from earlier?" He asked.
I smiled and nodded. "Well, you have fun. He just got here," Matt said before walking off.
"It's a date, huh?" Klaus asked.
I turned to him and smiled. "Sure. I didn't know you thought of me like that," I said smirking.
He laughed. "Well then. Maybe I lied about a few things," he said smirking.
Wow, he likes me. That's different. I usually don't attract hot guys. What a liar this dude is? I didn't attract him.
"So, why do you need Elena exactly?" I asked.
He sighed. "I didn't fully lie. I do need her blood, but I also need her dead. She is the main part of this spell. Or Katherine."
I nodded. "Then, we use Katherine. I'm sure I can get the boys to go fetch," I said.
Then I realized that was a dog term. I said that to a dog. Hehe. I make myself laugh.
"You could. Or I can. I mean, I already have. And, if I use Katherine I won't need Elena," Klaus said.
                              I smiled. "Then use Katherine."
He shook his head. "It isn't that simple. Katherine's been running from me for a very long time. I was planning on torture, which won't come from that spell."
"Well, you can't kill Elena. I won't let you."
"Maybe not. But I will have my way. I always get my way."
He looked deep into my eyes. Then he smirked. "I may have already gotten it."
