I rolled over in bed, looking at the sunlight that shone through the window. I had been at the Salvatore's for a week now.
Bonnie hasn't talked to me since. Damon and Stefan keep begging me to get out of bed.
Elena and Caroline have stopped by everyday after school. They talk to me and try to convince me to get out of bed.
Nat and Michelle come over sometimes. They try to make me laugh, but my only emotion seems to be sadness.
The only person that has made me smile so far is Damon. Damon and me have gotten very close. He is my most frequent visitor.
"Knock knock," Damon said, knocking on the door.
"Come in," I said, rolling over to face the door.
Damon walked in with a plate of eggs and toast. "Here, Little Bennett. I don't want you to starve to death," he said, handing me the plate of eggs.
I took the plate and smiled. "Thanks, Damon."
He smiled and nodded. He sat at the end of my bed, observing me as I ate. Which I found extremely creepy.
"Bonnie stopped by today. She wants to see you, and talk," Damon spoke up.
I nearly choked on my toast. I didn't think Bonnie would ever want to see me again. My main reason for not ever leaving my bed.
"She left this," Damon said, handing me a note and bottle.
I set my plate down and opened the note.
Dear Kylie,
I am so sorry for immediately blaming you for Grams's death. I feel so terrible. I understand if you can never forgive me. I didn't mean what I said. I should have never said it in the first place. I was just so upset. But Grams did this for a reason. She knew she might not make it, before she made the elixir. That is what the bottle is. Drink it and it will send you into your subconscious. You will be able to fight your darkness there. The elixir will send you into a deep sleep, that you will only wake up to if you win. I'll be over after school.

I looked at the bottle in my hand. Elixir, huh? Grams died making this magical potion to fix me. Grams knew she might die.
I looked up at Damon, who stared at me waiting for answers. "Bonnie is coming here after school. That is when I will battle this darkness, and when for Grams."
Damon smiled at me and nodded. "I know you can. You are a badass."
I laughed at Damon and rolled my eyes playfully. Then there was a knock at the door.
"Sorry for intruding. I just uh, I wanted to talk to Kylie," Natalyn said.
That was a huge surprise to me. I expected Natalyn to be at school. Damon stood up and walked to the door.
"I'll be downstairs," he said before leaving.
I looked at Nat, patting the bed for her to sit next to me. She walked over and sat down. Something was on her mind.
"I think I made a huge mistake," Natalyn said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
I knew plenty about mistakes. Must be the reason she came to me first.
"I may have done something bad involving Jeremy. You are Elena's closest friend, and I feel like you could tell her for me."
I looked at Natalyn confused. "Tell her what?"
"I may have slept with Jeremy while she was out with Jenna and Michelle. It all happened so fast, and well I don't know," Natalyn explained.
My mouth fell open. Not at all what I expected. I sighed and looked at her.
"Do you like him?"
"That's the thing. I like him as a friend, but we kinda got a bit high. I didn't mean to. We were just hanging out since we were both bored."
I took a deep breath and nodded. "Ok. Uh- maybe you should just keep this one a secret. He was probably just high also."
She nodded. "That makes since. I was just seeing if you had any advice or wise words."
I laughed. "Not really. I've never had high sex before," I said, receiving a laugh from her.
"So, how is everything? I heard Bonnie is finally over everything," Natalyn said.
I sighed. "Honestly, I'm surprised she is. I would totally understand if she never wants to see me again."
Natalyn shook her head. "I wouldn't. You are all she has left. And she just got you. Why would she want to lose you so fast? Kylie, I don't think you realize how much everyone loves you already," Natalyn said.
I sighed and smiled. "I don't guess I do."
