2 Years Later
I felt air being sucked down my wind pipes. I sat up suddenly, grabbing ahold of my throat. The sudden feeling of air causing me to cough.
I began to calm my breathing. I looked around immediately noticing the room around me. My bedroom at the Salvatore's. I never moved back to Bonnie's house.
I noticed people were in the room with me. Bonnie was holding my hand. Damon and Stefan stood by the door watching with wide eyes. Caroline sat in a chair against the wall. Natalyn sat on the floor by Caroline. Michelle and Elena sat together by the bed. Alaric and Jeremy were leaning against a wall.
I looked at Bonnie. "What happened?" I asked.
Bonnie sighed and looked at me. "You were killed two years ago."
My eyes widened. All the thoughts came back to me suddenly. Klaus, Elijah, Tyler, Jules, ......the baby. Oh my gosh! The baby!
My hands went to my stomach as tears began to fall from my eyes. I looked at Stefan and shook my head. Then my eyes went around the room, seeing everyone's sad expression.
Stefan began walking towards me, immediately wrapping me in a hug when he reached me.
"I'm so sorry, Ky," Stefan said.
I wrapped my arms around him and grabbed ahold of his shirt, tucking my head into his neck. Tears were pouring down my head.
"Why?! Why me?!" I shouted.
He rubbed my back and sighed. "Ky, I'm so sorry."
I pulled away from him and looked around. A smile appeared on my face.
"I should be crying my eyes out, but all I want to do right now is hug you all," I said.
They all smiled and ran towards me, piling on top of my with hugs. I smiled at the embrace. Then my mind began to wander.
"Where is Klaus?" I asked.
Everyone stood up and looked at me. Then Natalyn sighed.
"I'm sorry, Kylie. Klaus left for New Orleans with a girl and is unborn child," Natalyn explained.
My mouth dropped. "Unborn child?" I questioned.
Nat nodded. "I'm so sorry, Ky. Everyone couldn't move on, but then suddenly he did."
I sighed. "Maybe it was meant to be this way. How did I come back?" I asked.
Bonnie smiled. "My doing."
I smiled and laughed. "I love you, Bon Bon."
She smiled back. "I couldn't let you live. You gotta stay alive. I won't let you die. How am I supposed to attend your wedding and grow old with you if you die?" Bonnie asked.
I laughed. "You wanna go to my wedding and grow old with me?" I asked.
She nodded. "Promise?" I said, holding out my pink.
She locked it and nodded. "Promise."
I looked around the room and smiled. "I love you guys."
A bunch of 'love you's were said back. People began leaving the room, leaving just me and Natalyn.
She turned to me and smiled. "A lot of shit has gone down since you left," she remarked.
I giggled. "Explain."
"Well, let's start with me. I broke up with Damon, saying I felt better as friends. He accepted it, and we are really good friends still. He is currently with Michelle."
"Really? Well, that's good that he took it well," I replied.
"Next, Bonnie. Your sister has a new flirty guy friend named Enzo. Elena is dating Matt. And Stefan and I have been flirting a lot recently."
I smiled. "I should have died a while ago. All of this is good news. I'm so happy for you."
She smiled. "Well, we were all devastated by your death. Klaus is the one that found you. I was in the living room when he carried you in crying. He was very upset. I've never someone so messed up."
I sighed, thinking about what the scene would of looked like. "No one knows who killed you," Nat finished.
I looked at her and then at my feet. "I know."
She sucked in a breath. "Who? I gotta know. I want them dead."
I giggled. "Well, it was Tyler and his friend Jules. They said the baby had to die."
Natalyn looked down at her hands and sighed. "I'm so sorry, Ky."
"It's fine. For some reason, my emotions are being covered up with a happiness. It's confusing, but helpful."
She nodded. "I guess I won't be killing them since they are already dead."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Damon killed them. He was very upset by your death and Tyler came around, joking about it with Jules. Damon went ham on them."
I sighed and looked around the room. I felt bad. All the people in my life had to deal with my death. Some of them probably believed I wasn't coming back to life.
"Did I miss graduation?" I asked.
Natalyn shook her head. "Nope. We graduate next month. Everyone believes you were in a coma because of a car wreck. You did though, miss Elena, Caroline, and your sister's first day of college."
"Dang it," I exclaimed in a whisper.
Natalyn giggled and looked at me. "I'm glad to have you back, Ky. We all really missed you."
I smiled at her. "I'm glad to be back too."
