I couldn't help but stare at my phone, deciding whether or not to call Klaus or Elijah.

"You really shouldn't," Damon interrupted me.

I turned to him and sighed. "What if he comes back, because I'm alive? Damon, I was in love with him. I was carrying his damn baby!" I said, raising my tone.

Damon looked at me, but didn't say anything. "I'm sorry for yelling," I said.

He shook his head. "Don't be. I don't know how you are so calm after what happened," Damon said.

I looked up at him and took in a deep breath. I didn't have any answers. Damon walked over to the table and grabbed my phone. He turned to me and tossed it.

"Call him."

I shook my head. "I thought that wasn't a good idea."

"Just do it, for me," Damon said.

I sighed and began to dial Klaus's number. Before I called him, I looked up at Damon.

He nodded, causing me to click the call button. I raised it slowly to my ear. The phone began to ring. I waited silently, staring at Damon.

"And who may this be?" Klaus asked.

I gulped and looked at Damon. He nodded for me to go on.

"Klaus?" I asked.

The other end of the phone went silent. I sighed and looked at Damon.

"Kylie? How?" Klaus asked.

"Bonnie resurrected me."

"Is the baby-," I didn't let him finish.

"No, but I want you to take care of your baby. Please, don't let anything hurt it."

Klaus sighed. "I won't. For you. Can I see you?"

I wiped the tears that were falling and shook my head, even if he couldn't see. "No, Klaus. Be there with your family. Do this for your family. Do this for yourself."

I heard a quiet gasp before Klaus spoke up. "Fine, but just know, I will always love you."

I smiled. "I will always love you too."

The phone ended and I dropped it from my hand. I looked up at Damon and ran to him. I wrapped myself in his arms and cried. Tears I had been holding in for hours. Tears that needed to be released.

"Hey, it's okay. You did the right thing," Damon said, running his fingers through my hair.

4 Hours Later

"And that is how I ended up here," I explained to Alaric.

"Well, your day has been eventful. At least you are back though," Alaric said, taking a sip of his bourbon.

I sighed. "Yeah, true. So, how has life been without me?"

"Sad, except one thing. I met a girl. Her name is Josette Parker."

I smiled. "Where at?"

He laughed. "A corn maze."

"That sounds eventful. Can I meet her?" I asked.

Alaric laughed. "Sure, why not?"

I smiled to myself before taking a sip of bourbon from my own glass. I looked back up at Alaric and laughed to myself.

"What's so funny?"

"This weird tingly thing is happening in my body. It's like my body is growing like it would in 2 years, but in a day."

He looked at me. "Is that because of Bonnie's spell?"

I nodded. "Exactly. And I'm just laughing because instead of living it, I go through this."

He laughed. "That is quite weird."

I raised my hand. "Matt, another round please."

Matt walked over to me and laughed. "Kylie, you just got back and you are already drunk."

I laughed. "I'm not drunk, I'm tipsy."

He sighed. "Ok, whatever you say. I'll be right back."

Matt walked off and Alaric starting laughing. "Gosh, when did you become such a partier?"

I smiled. "I've always been a partier, just never got the chance to show it."

My phone began to ring, but I just shut it off. Then Alaric's rang. He grabbed it and put it to his ear.

I sighed, watching as he nodded and handed the phone to me. I grabbed it and rolled my eyes.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Kylie, get home. Now," Damon's voice boomed over the phone.

I sighed. "Ugh, fine."

I hung up and gave the phone back to Alaric. "Are you drunk?" I asked Alaric.

He shook his head. "It takes more than 2 rounds to get me drunk."

I laughed. "Drive me home then, please."

He sighed and rolled his eyes. "Fine."

He got up and I followed him out to the car. I slowly got in, plopping down into the seat.

As we drove, I stared out the window, watching everything pass by. I giggled to myself, thinking of how pissed Damon is.

"What's funny, now?" Alaric asked.

"How pissed do you think Damon is?" I asked.

"Probably really pissed," Alaric laughed.

I sighed and watched as we pulled up to the Salvatore house. I looked at Alaric and smiled.

"Thanks, Alaric. Text me when I get to meet Josette," I said, getting out of the car.

"I will. Goodnight, Kylie."

Alaric drove off, and I walked up to the front door. Damon stood in front of me, arms crossed.

"Explain yourself, Little Bennett," Damon said.

"I was just hanging with Alaric. My apologies."

Damon sighed and wrapped me in a hug. "Next time invite me," he laughed.

I nodded. "Of course."

I went to walk away, but I began to stumble over myself. Damon scooped me up and carried me up to my room.

"Sleep well, Little Bennett," he said.

He brushed the hair from my face and tucked it behind my ear. He placed a soft kiss on my lips and smiled.

"Sleep well."
