fandoms are sometimes very confusing.
I'm a Brat - Loyal fan of Cher Lloyd
I'm a Haynanic - Loyal fan of Hunter Hayes
I'm a Bryanator - Loyal fan of Luke Bryan
I'm a Dangernator - Loyal fan of Henry Danger
Directioner - Loyal fan of 1D
Starsian - Loyal fan of Tfios
and so much more. (I made up LB, HD, TFIOS fan names lol)
and some people just don't see the awesomeness being in a fandom comes with! i mean, apparently it's PERFECTLY FINE to be obsessed with a sports team and talk about them and have so much merchindice from that team yet it's TOTALLY INSANE to be obessed with a celeb/book/movie/tv show and have all of the merchindice. WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH THAT? SOME FANS ARE PUT IN MENTAL HOSPITALS BECAUSE OF IT! WHY NOT PUT OBSESSED SPORTS FANS IN MENTAL HOSPITALS TOO, HUH? SEEMS FAIR!
I just don't see what's so wrong with being in a fandom. it's one of the best things EVER. People just need to accept the fact that different people like/love different things and have devoted most of their lives to the fandom and/or sports team. But seriously?! SPORTS TEAMS. IT'S LIKE A FANDOM YET JUST WITH BIG DUDES/DUDETTS TACKLING EACH OTHER OR MOVING AROUND A RANDOM SHAPED BALL. Fandoms are more than that because they help people escape from their realities and remeber the good. Yet sports teams are more acceptable? WHO DECIDED THIS?! I WANT A LAWYER!
