okay so lately I've heard alot of commotion about gay/bisexual/transgenders. I'd like to pour my heart out for the next hour ranting about my opinion on it.
I totally support it. All of it. And I do respect that some people don't fully support it or totally don't. but when you start to hate on someone because of it or threaten them or not speak to them because of their sexuality?! that's what pisses me off. People have a right to love who they chose, and if they chose to love the same sex, so be it. Let them love, alright? I just hate that people riot over this kind of thing. Like, it's love. Love wins. Let it go, alright? i hate that people are actually disgusted by it. if you don't like same sex marriage, then don't be a part of it. People can marry whoever they want if they want to. Love is love.
Some people hate this so much that they sit down and decide "wow I hate gays some much that I'm gonna kill them" and just kill them for their sexuality. It's hard living like that, you know? I'm not speaking from personal experience. (I'm not gay/bisexual). I've heard alot about this kind of thing on the news, and I was so happy when all marriage was legalized in all 50 states. Love. Wins. No matter what you say, love wins.
I respect other's opinions. But when your opinion is hurtful or threatening or harms someone or even kills them, then you need to freaking stop and think about what you're doing because what you're doing is not right. People have a right to love each other and some choose to love the same sex. That's perfectly fine, alright? Just let them be, they're so cute together!
-------(this means I'm changing the topic because this will include multiple rants about real-world problems)-----
So another topic my passion burns for is stereotypes and sexism. Look around, they're everywhere. Women are told what to look like, who to be. Men are forced to be the stronger sex and do everything for the women. Where in heck does that seem the slightest bit fair? And when men underestimate women, I get so angered because women are capable to accomplish more than anyone thinks. Just because we can't run as well (maybe it's the boobs on our chests holding us back) doesn't mean we're not just as athletic. We can run faster than men alot. and kids and teens are also stereotyped whether you realize it or not. Kids are expected to act maturely, yet they haven't matured. And teens are expected to act like adults, but sometimes we're treated like kids. Teens are thought to be bratty and snobby, greedy, needy, rebellious kids who drink under-aged. But the truth is, only a few actually do. Most teens spend their time on the internet and at school, maybe with their friends and studying to get into a good college. We're underestimated, because anyone can change the world, especially a bright, young mind.
Women are taken as the weaker sex because they don't look like men or they don't have as big muscles. Sometimes we're "weaker" because of our appearance. And women shouldn't be afraid to walk out on the street alone at night. we shouldn't be harassed by men at parties or anywhere, really. We shouldn't be forced into things or sexually abused or treated like we're some kind of toy. We're not. We're human, just like the rest. We feel everything. We are expected to act like it doesn't bother us when a guy hits on us when we don't like it. And we're expected to "chill out" after a rude or sexist joke. Where in the lines of logic does any of that make sense?!
-------------
Abuse and bullying. Okay so these two things i feel are the worst in this world. Abuse just flat out harms someone and bullying slowly kills them inside. I've been through them both. Let me tell you, it's not fun. And being picked on for being yourself hurts like hell because you've finally figured out who you are and then some random crap walks in and judges you for you. How would you feel if you were put in the victim's feet?! How would you feel if someone judged you for you being yourself?! It's not fun. And cyber bullying just adds on. You already hurt them enough at school, why do you bring it home?! Abuse is like beating someone up on a daily basis and not getting any help. Like you're trapped in hell and you can't escape. Like you're being killed in that moment, and you don't know what to do with your life. It leaves bruises and permanent scars. It leaves battle scars, too. Same with bullying. Battle scars show that you've been through alot, and that you survived. If you're being abused, don't wait for something horrible to happen, okay? get help right now or call the police. You can't let it go one because you're afraid. Fear is what always holds us back, yet it pushes us forwards, too. Talk to someone and get the help you need, okay? And if you're called worthless or ugly or fat, just know that you're none of those. Real people aren't perfect, perfect people aren't real. You're beautiful just the way you are, you don't need to change just for one person. Just to make them happy. Stay you and don't lose hope because there's always room for hope in your soul.
