Chapter 7

I woke up to the sound of music booming in all the corners of the room, especially in my ears. When I opened my eyes, I saw Josh staring at me intently.

Inalis ko muna ang muta sa mata ko bago dahan-dahang bumangon. Ramdam kong dumulas ang kumot pababa sa tiyan ko at nung pagtingin ko kay Josh, nakatitig siya sa dibdib ko.

"Bakit may chikinini ka?", his voice sounded hoarse.

Kakagising lang ba niya? Teka... anong sabi niya?

Namilog ang mga mata ko nung dinantay niya ang daliri malapit sa korona ng dibdib ko. Dali-dali kong hinila pataas ang kumot and wrapped it around me as my heartbeat quickened.

"A-Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Did he saw my hickeys?

Shemay. Hindi pwede!

Judging from the memory, both of them were hungrily planting wet hickeys all over my body last night! Anong oras na ba? Bakit mas nauna pa silang nagising kaysa sa akin?

"I put the music on speaker because I want to ask you something... " sa tono at titig pa lang niya, malamang hindi ako pwedeng makipaglokohan sa kanya.

"Ano?"

"Did the two of us took your virginity last night?"

I swallowed hard as I try to have the strength in meeting his intense gaze. I laughed half-heartedly as I jokingly slapped his arm.

"Paano mo naman nasabi 'yan?"

"There's blood on your bedcovers. Bago pa man makita 'yon ni Jake ay tinanggal ko na."

Bakit niya gagawin yun? Does he not want Jake to know? Perhaps, he's scared of Jake finding out about what happened during the days we were in Singapore? But, why would the incident happened last night be connected with what happened months ago?

My cheeks heated. Iniwasan ko ang mga titig niya at mahigpit na napahawak sa kumot na tanging tumatakip sa katawan ko.

"I was with a m-man last night... " I lied.

Tama. It's better if they don't know about last night. I just hope they don't remember it at all just like the previous times whenever they end up getting drunk.

"Who?"

"Hindi ko kilala... basta ang natatandaan ko, after niyong pumasok sa condo ay lumabas ako. And then I was... " kissing you and Jake.

Hindi ko na natuloy ang sasabihin dahil lalo lang uminit ang pisngi ko... pati pakiramdam ko... nang maalala ang mainit na pinagsaluhan naming tatlo kagabi.

"You was what?", Josh's tone was sharp, making me flinch when his fingers touched my bare leg.

"I was k-kissing the man... "

"Pero paano kami napunta sa kwarto mo?"

I panicked when he suddenly moved closer to me but I never showed him my reaction because I choose to turn my back on him. I was ready to leave the bed when I felt his hands wrapped around my waist, locking me in place.

Oo nga! Paano sila nakapasok sa kwarto ko kung may katalik akong ibang lalake?

"Wrong move, Claire.. " he whispered making me whimper.

One thing I know about Josh, he knows if I am lying or not. And whenever I turn my back on, it's a sign that I can't take this intense aura between us.

Mahina akong huminga ng malalim, determinadong utuin siya, bago siya hinarap. I kissed the side of his lips which stunned him, making him froze in place before I stood up letting him take a sight of my bare back and ass.
