Ben

Valentine's Day is tomorrow and I won't be home to celebrate it with Ally and Liam. Instead I'm road tripping it in the West Coast with the team. Today we're in Phoenix to take on the Suns, and Monday we'll be in Utah to face the Jazz. So far we've played the Kings and the Trailblazers. And Monday, we'll be back in Philly to play the Rockets.

I've arranged to have Tahj pick up some things I ordered, that way he can take them to the house and set them up for Ally before she wakes up. I think she's gonna like what I have planned for her. The other day she was telling me about how she never really experienced Valentine's Day, so I wanted to make this one special for her.

She's three months pregnant now, just finished week 13 actually, and is starting to show a little bit more than what she was before. The morning sickness has settled down, but she's not getting ahead of herself. She knows what happens next.

Liam will be one on the 26th and Ally's freaking out about it. I'm just glad I don't have a game that day because I would really like to spend my son's first birthday with him. I think we're gonna get him a one tier Elmo cake and put a 1 candle in it. He won't know what's going on, but he'll like it.

He's really growing on us.

He's walking now, on his own, and reeking havoc while at it. I can't tell you the countless times Ally has had to pry him off of furniture so he wouldn't hurt himself. So we invested in some tumbling toys for him, since he likes to climb things. He also likes to get into everything. Like the other day, he was found digging in the cabinets for god knows what.

He's a little mischievous too. Ally would catch him trying to crawl out of his playpen. He succeeded a few times. And the teeth that he has now, he's chewing on anything. I know it's driving Ally up a wall, it has to be. But she's a trooper.

There's about six minutes left in the second quarter before halftime. Chris Paul knocked the ball out of bounds, so now we're waiting on the ref to hand it over so we can resume play.

As I'm waiting, Devin Booker is defending me. He made a few snarky comments tonight, none of them phasing me in the slightest bit. Most of them were about me, which is fine with me I guess. He said some things about Kendall and how she "loves it here". I just ignored him because he was obviously just trying to get in my head.

"Kendall gave me the update on your conquests." He said, standing in front of me. "You knocked up the equipment manager? Damn bro. You must've been real desperate."

I look at him. "Kendall still talks about me?"

I smirk at him when his jaw clenches. The ref blows the whistle and hands the ball to Tobias. I push off Devin and run around to an opening, catching the ball when Tobias tosses it in. I slam it into the basket, winking at Devin when I land.

The Suns call a timeout and I walk over to the bench, completely ignoring Devin's glare. I knew I had his attention now, and he was definitely going to give me hell for it. But I don't play about mine.

I sat down in my seat, waiting on Doc to come over and give us the play. Joel noticed the distress on my face and pat my back, giving me comfort. I guess he felt this game would be hard for me considering I'm going up against my ex's new boyfriend, but I could really care less. We moved on from that.

"You alright B?" Tobias asked, sitting next to me.

"Yeah I'm good." I say.

He nods, not asking me anymore questions. I take a sip from my Gatorade bottle, waiting for Doc.
