Ally

Tomorrow is the end of week 20 of my pregnancy; I'm at the halfway point guys!! Ben is coming home today, for two back to back games this weekend, then he's leaving again. Today is Friday and Oscar will be making my ultimate favorite; Chicken Alfredo.

Liam is causing mischief in every way possible. I literally had to chase him out of kitchen last night because he thought it was okay to climb on things without adult supervision. The dogs are doing perfect; aside from when they knocked Liam over yesterday while they were playing with each other.

Then there's me, who's keeping a lid on it until my fiancé gets home. Other than that, everything is peachy.

"Liam, don't do that." I say, pointing at him.

His face scrunches up and he's about to cry when Ben walks into the house. I sigh in relief when I see him pick up Liam on the way inside.

"Hey buddy!" He greets him, kissing his cheek.

The dogs surround him in excitement, rubbing against him for affection.

"Hey guys!" He greets them.

I bend down to pick up Liam's Elmo toy from the middle of the floor, then inhale through my nose and out through my mouth.

"Someone's tired." Ben said, watching Liam rub his eyes.

"He just woke up from a nap not too long ago." I answer him, looking down at my watch.

Ben walks into the kitchen where I'm at, leaning down to peck my lips.

"It's great to see your face after two weeks." He muffled against my lips.

"Likewise." I grin.

He leaves another kiss on my lips before pulling away.

"How did you spend those two weeks?" He asked.

"Reading. Watching the games. Sleeping. Momming." I shrug. "The usual."

"What did you read?" He asks.

"The entire Hunger Games series." I answer. "For the hundredth time."

"So you read all four books in two weeks?" He said, placing Liam onto the island counter.

"I did. Although the last one is actually a prequel." I say the last part in thought.

He nods.

"Did wedding planning come up at all?" He asked.

I shake my head.

"Why not?" He mumbles.

"I want to focus on one thing at a time." I express. "I want to look good in my wedding dress, I don't want to look pregnant."

"What's wrong with that? You look good either way." He winked.

"Stop getting me pregnant for your entertainment Benjamin." I playfully narrow my eyes.

He narrows his eyes back. "Stop calling me Benjamin."

"It is your name." My eyes cut to slits.

"Is not."

"Is too."

"Is not."

I fold my arms. "Then what would you like to be called?"

"Babe, baby, you decide." He shrugs.

"Alright lover." I tease.

"Definitely not that one!"
