Ben

Ally is at 22 weeks of pregnancy, which translates to five months. I'm no expert at this kind of thing, but I think things are going pretty okay. She claims that she's been having heartburn and it's a little hard for her to poop.

I didn't know girls poop.

"Yes girls poop Benjamin. We're not aliens." Ally stresses, staring up at the ceiling of the bathroom. She's currently sitting on the toilet trying to poop.

"Isn't that a guy thing though?" I ask.

I peep her looking at me from the corner of my eye, so I turn to look at her.

"What?" I say.

She blinks. "It's a human thing."

"Well sorry for asking." I hold my hands up in defense.

"Sometimes you say things that just don't make any sense, and it's okay. But please...don't say that again." She purses her lips at the end.

I purse my lips as well, nodding.

"Are you done pooping then?" I ask. "It's been a little over five minutes."

"Nobody told you to be in here Ben. There are other bathrooms in this house." She gestures to the door.

"But I like this one."

She narrows her eyes at me and I sigh.

"This is ridiculous." I mumble.

"Out." She points to the door.

I leave the bathroom, going to the other one that's upstairs. I can't wait until she gives birth because she's a little cranky when she's pregnant. I really can't imagine what she was like with Liam.

After doing my business in the bathroom, I'm walking back into our shared bedroom. I see that the door to the bathroom is closed, which means she must be in there still.

"You okay in there babe?" I ask out of concern.

I hear her sniffle and that scares me a little.

"I'm fine. It just hurts." She answers.

I can't imagine what she's going through right now.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" I ask.

She's probably shaking her head.

"No. I'm okay." She says. "I'll be out soon."

I chew on my lower lip. "Are you sure?"

"Positive."

I frown, knowing that she's only saying that so I won't be worried. I often take her word for it because she's usually being honest about things. I just don't want her to hurt herself.

I occupy myself with Liam for about forty-five minutes, before Ally leaves the bathroom with her robe on.

"I assume something came out." I say, looking at her. She wears that particular robe after she showers.

She nods. "Enough to find relief. I'm not entirely thrilled however."

She walks over to the bed, sitting on the edge. She rubs some lotion on herself, before slipping on her undergarments and putting on her pink silk pajamas.

"I don't think it gets any easier from here." She said, standing up.

"Of course it doesn't baby. It's pregnancy." I say.
