Chapter 34: Confession

Yeonjun's POV:

"Yey Yeonjun hyung's team won the mission so it means I won our bet!!!"

Kai said while extending his hand in front of Beomgyu who was annoyed and he fished something out of his pockets.

"Here's your chocolate you annoying brat"

Beomgyu scoffed as he handed a handful of chocolates to Kai which made our maknae laugh devilishly and he opened the pack while he ate it happily as he teased Beomgyu.

"Mind to tell me what's happening?"

I asked while I took my thick padded jacket, I just finished changing since our performance just ended and we just arrived here at our accommodation.

"We just had a bet on which team will win hyung"

Kai answered and he still looked happy over those chocolates, or maybe he's happy since he won their bet and he's now teasing Beomgyu? But either way I have a much important business right now.

"Yah hyung it's just past 7 in the evening, I thought you're meet up was around 9?"

I glanced at the wall clock before I glanced at Taehyun who looked quite energy drained already while laying on his bed, he let out a yawn and he even checked the time on his phone to make sure if he's right.

"I'll rather be early than to keep her waiting"

These dorks kept on teasing me which made me frown at them, but their teasing really helps in easing this nervousness that I'm feeling.

"Goodluck hyung! I hope she rejects you!"

I glared at Soobin and he showed me his bunny smile, I would really make fun of him too if ever Yeji rejects him after their dating ban, Soobin told us that he confessed his feelings to Yeji and he said that he's willing to wait for her answer until their dating ban ends so practically this guy gave her a whole year just to think of her answer.

But I would also wait for a year too since I don't want Ryujin to be in trouble just because of me.

I went out of the rest house and I'm walking in a normal pace on the way towards the children's playground which happens to be on the other side of the park where our pds almost caught us, I placed my hands inside the pocket of my padded jacket when the cold wind passed by.

The members of Itzy wanted to have some sort of 'girl time' with each other so after the mission they went out and who knows where they went, but they assured that Ryujin will be at our meeting place by 9 in the evening, the other members of Itzy were way too supportive that they even gave me some advice on what Ryujin likes, they said to keep it simple since she hates extravagant things, that I should go straight to the point though I'm not sure if I can really do that.
