Chapter 18: Source of strength

Yeonjun's POV:

"Yah Shin Ryujin why did you and Junkyu almost held hands?!"

I asked Ryujin in a frustrated tone the moment that she entered the waiting area she just glared at me and she covered my mouth with her hands though she was already in her tiptoes since she's quite small compared to my height.

"It was a part of our performance"

She answered in the most deadpan voice ever, geez she sounded so much like Taehyun.

"And besides you even said it yourself 'almost' and if ever he really did held my hand what's the big deal about it?"

She added with her brow raised and she finally put her hand down that was covering my mouth, I gave her a glare while she gave me a deadly look, aish this girl is surely annoying sometimes, she sat on one of the vacant chairs while she looked at me while waiting for my answer.

"It's either you get bashed or they will ship the two of you"

I said with a sigh and I sat beside her and I crossed my arms, the other groups weren't paying us attention since after the performance of Treasure the staffs told us that they won't record anymore so that we can goof around with each other.

I glanced at Ryujin's face and I saw how a grin formed on her lips as she nudged my side.

"You're jealous, aren't you?"

She said teasingly while my eyes widened while she laughed so loudly making everyone look at us, she gave them a peace sign while she continued to laugh while I was still flustered, why is she so quick-witted?!

She suddenly leaned closer and she whispered something that only the two of us could hear.

"Now tell me, you like Junkyu don't you?"

My eyes widened while she was giggling like a kid while I gave her an annoyed look as I gently pushed her forehead to keep her face away from mine, for a brief moment I thought she was quick-witted.

She sat properly on the chair while she removed the hood on her Olaf costume hoodie that she was wearing and she messed her hair a bit making her look like a mad scientist, I can't help but to laugh after seeing her like this.

"Yeah of course laugh all you want I just want to wash up so I can remove this annoying make-up and hairspray"

She scoffed while she started to remove the hairpins on her hair she was struggling since there wasn't any mirror that she could use, I reached for her hair and I helped her remove some of the hairpins, she looked like a kid while doing it though.

I reached for her hand while she gave me a confused look while her other hand was busy caressing her head to check if there's still any hairpin left.
