Chapter 52: Selfish

Yeji's POV:
 

Ryujin has been acting strange after she left our waiting room earlier, wait let me correct myself, she's been acting strange since last night, she doesn't talk unless we talk to her and it was odd because even after the issue broke out she would still talk to me but the whole day today she was just spacing out and I'm worried about it since I have no idea on what she's thinking right now, I was still mad at Yeonjun's childish acts towards Ryujin and I have a feeling that Yeonjun was the reason why she's been so out of herself.
 

"Yeji are you sure that Ryujin's alright?"
 

Lia suddenly whispered as she leaned closer towards me, I glanced at Lia and she had that worried look on her face as she turned her head towards Ryujin who has her eyes fixed on the monitor's screen, I glanced at the clip that they were playing and it was a video where Ryujin and Yeonjun was sitting beside each other while eating their snacks.
 

"No, I'm sure that she's not fine at all"
 

We all know that she's not fine at all, she was stressed out and she's blaming herself when she isn't at fault at all.
 

"Aish I'm starting to get nervous"
 

The other members of Treasure agreed to what Junkyu said and they were holding each other's hands along with the members of Ateez.
 

The replay of unaired behind the scenes ended and now Kyunghoon sunbaenim was in front of the crowd, he's going to announce who will perform first which made all of us nervous, this is the final performance, all the hell will end soon and I'm desperately hoping that everything will be back to normal once this show is over.
 

"The first unit to perform, who will it be?"
 

Kyunghoon sunbaenim said and he let out a teasing smile as the crowd went wild, they were excited to witness the performances.
 

"Let's welcome Treasure x Ateez!"
 

After hearing the team the members of Ateez and Treasure stood up and some of them were jumping and screaming to ease their nervousness.
 

"Goodluck!!"
 

"Fighting everyone!!"
 

"You can do it!!"
 

Me and my members gave them encouraging words so does the members of TXT, I can't wait to see what kind of performance our opposing team had prepared today, knowing how crazy their dance line and vocal lines are makes me anticipate their performance even more.
 

"If Yedam and Jongho belt high notes together that would be the end of me!"
 

Yuna said like an excited kid and she dragged her chair closer towards the screen and we giggled, she's right though those two have power vocals.
 

I glanced at Ryujin but she wasn't in her seat, I roamed my eyes around the room to look for her and I saw her sitting besides Yuna, ok when did she get there?
 

The ten of us were staring at the screen intently as the 20 membered unit entered the stage, their number was doubled compared to ours so they can have a powerful performance if they make use of their number of members, their introduction took more than 5 minutes while the audience's cheers didn't stop, they were chanting all their names and it was such a sight to witness.
 

"Omo their starting already!!"
 

Chaeryeong squealed excitedly when the group to perform were already in their positions as the lights dimmed, the audience were crazy and so are we, their new song was a huge bop too, Treasure and Ateez showed a legendary stage which they had great choreography, top notch vocals and their visuals are on point! Damn am I fangirling over them?!
