Chapter 48: Who's the liar?

Ryujin's POV:

"It was you Sunmin-ah?"

I couldn't believe what I was seeing now, I fished my phone out of my pocket to check if I went to the right address, I was trembling as my breathing became heavy, I'm at the right place, this can't be real.

"What are do doing here Ryu?"

I glanced at Sunmin and she seemed confused, I don't know what to do, I glanced at her and we just stood there looking at each other.

"Sunmin did you do it?"

I asked while clenching my fist as I bit my lower lip, please tell me that she didn't do it, my friend won't do it to me, right?

"Tsk took you too long to find out"

She scoffed as a smirk formed on her lips, as I stared at her still processing everything that she said.

"W-what?"

I was stuttering as I felt my knees getting weak, while she looked at me from head to toe.

"Everyone thinks so high of you but with one tweet I ended your career"

She took a step closer, her smirk getting wider as I froze on my spot.

"How does it feel to be hated by everyone?"

She smiled as she reached for my cheek, she gave me a light pat while I kept on watching her every move.

"Sunmin-ah, h-how could y-you do that t-to me? We're friends?"

I stuttered and I saw how her face darkened as she scoffed, her hands were curled into a fist as she gave me an annoyed look.

"Friends? Did you even consider me as a friend?"

She was furious, her eyes tell me how mad she is towards me and I don't understand why, what have I done for my friend to do this to me?

"Of course you're my frien-"

"A FRIEND YET YOU'RE STEALING EVERYTHING THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MINE!!"

I was surprised by her sudden outburst as I looked at her, I don't understand, I've always considered Sunmin as my friend but now she's telling me that I'm taking everything? I clearly don't understand.

"Stop playing dumb Ryujin, you want me to tell you why?"

She asked sarcastically while I was just standing there not knowing what I will do, I want to know why but I'm also scared, I'm not usually like this but this is how I genuinely feel today.

"Mixnine, I still can't believe how you've managed to pass mixnine when I didn't, we're both good dancers but I was clearly a much more stable vocalist and rapper during those days compared to you, so you passing while I didn't surely doesn't make any sense to me"

She said in the most sarcastic way she could, I know that I might look stupid now as I was just looking at her but it was too much to process.

"Then you easily managed to be a part of the debuting team while they completely scooped me out of the list"

She was glaring at me, if looks could kill I would probably be dead by now.

"I understand if Yeji unnie was there because she's indeed an ace, Lia unnie has amazing vocals which is a must in a group, Chaeryeongie? Obviously she deserves to debut no matter what, while Yuna became a part of the group after Somi left but she already proved her importance to the group"
