Chapter 33: Trigger

Ken's Point of View

I woke up feeling like someone was seating beside me. And when I opened my eyes, I saw Raven.

"What the heck are you doing here? It's already night time for fvcks sake." I said irritated then I quickly pulled myself away from her.

She was seating on my bed while watching me sleep. Who even told her that she can enter my room without my permission?

"I am your fiancée. I can enter your room whenever I want."

The nerve she has. "You can't. Wag kang feeling boss, Raven. Nasa pamamahay kita. Now leave my room."

She smirked. "Oh well. Mukang masama ang gising ng fiancé ko." she said teasingly.

I got goosebumps because of what she called me. I wanted to spew. Hindi kinakaya ng sikmura ko na marinig na fiancée ko siya.

She walked out of my room quietly. That's unusual. Minsan magpapa-awa o aakitin pa niya ako bago siya tuluyang sumuko.

What's with her?

Raven came from a rich and powerful family. She's an only child kaya nakukuha niya ang lahat ng gusto niya. But I am not and won't be included.

Our company needed her parents to save our company from bankruptcy. Kailan ng kompanya namin ng mag-iinvest at sila ang nahanap ni Mama.

Pero bago sila tuluyang mag-invest sa kompanya namin, kailangan muna naming ikasal ni Raven dahil iyon ang gusto ng mga magulang niya.

And because Mom was desperate, she agreed, without my permission. I'm so fvcking pissed!

A day has passed since the incident on the café happened. Kamusta na kaya si Katrina? I never heard of her condition. Hindi naman kasi ako matulungan ngayon ni Evan dahil nasa business trip siya at ayaw kong maka-abala sa trabaho niya.

Hinawakan ko nalang ang kanang kamay ko para kapain doon ang singsing ko. But to my surprise, my ring wasn't there.

Bigla akong nag-panic. Agad akong tumayo sa kama ko at hinanap sa bawat sulok ng kwarto ko ang singsing ko.

That is so important to me! Hindi pwedeng mawala 'yon!

But after minutes of searching, I found nothing. Then a thought popped in my mind.

Where's that girl?

Lumabas ako sa kwarto ko at agad ko siyang hinanap. Baka hindi pa siya nakaka-alis.

I saw her on the hallway while talking to Mom. I immediately went on that way.

"Where the fvck is my ring?" I gripped her wrists tightly.

"What are you talking about?" she asked.

"Ken! Ano bang ginagawa mo? Bitawan mo si Raven, baka masaktan mo siya." sabi ni Mama.

"I'll ask you again, Raven. Where the fvck is my ring?! Where did you put it?!" I shouted.

She even closed her eyes as I shouted at her. I can't control my anger anymore. It's really important to me.

"Ken! Tama na! Bitawan mo si Raven!"

Pilit na inalis ni Mama ang pagkaka-hawak ko kay Raven. Bahagya pa siyang napa-atras nang marahas ko siyang binitawan.

"What is your problem? Bakit mo ba siya sinisigawan?" Mom said as she came close to Raven.

Raven started shedding tears. And Mom kept trying to calm her down. What a fvcking good actor.
