Incoherent

Part 55: Noemi and Shinya

This chapter will be narrated by Noemi.

I stood before the army heading toward us. I have to admit I never really took battle practice that seriously, but when I get mad, I GET MAD.

Lilith stood to my right. Flora, the vegetation leader to my left.

Noemi:"We're all thinking the same thing?"

Flora:"Great minds think alike!"

At the same time all three of us buried our hands in the dirt. Slowly pulling them up we made every root in the ground rise from the earth. I focused on tangling the tanks as best as I could.

I looked at Lilith. For a pacifist she was doing one hell of a good job. I couldn't help but laugh.

Noemi:"Lilith, what happened to peace offerings?"

Lilith smiled as she got a good grip of the roots. She used them to swing the tank back and forth until it landed on another tank.

Lilith:"Does it look like a daisy was going to work with them?"

I had to laugh.

Lilith:"Besides, sometimes you have to let your bad side out."

I kept working with the girls until I felt a tugging on my sleeve. I ignored it for a while. After a while I had to look. It was pretty obvious who it was.

Noemi:"Shinya not now."

That didn't stop him.

Noemi:"Shinya, later."

He kept doing it. This time with audio.

Shinya:"Noemi."

Noemi:"Ugh."

Okay maybe some of you are wondering why I'm even with him. Sure he can be childish, abscent minded, a bit clueless, curious... What was I saying? Oh right. But also, he's a gentleman. He's the only boy that'll hold the door for me, even if he hits the person behind. He pulls my chair, even if it is a little to far and I fall. The one who wrote me a song, even he can't sing. Sure most of you will think he's a dunce but when was the last time a dude did so much effort for you? It's the thought that counts. And, he's the only dude that has made me laugh so much, plus he's hella cute. Bring me prince charming, I still prefer my Shinya. And over all...

Shinya:"NOEMI!"

Noemi:"WHAT!"

I looked up and a torpedo was heading straight for us. I pulled Shinya and flew us out of the way.

Noemi:"Oh shit. Thanks babe. This is to dangerous for you... Uh... Um... GO HIDE WITH THE BABIES!"

Shinya:"But..."

Noemi:"JUST DO IT I'LL BE FINE!"

Shinya:"Promise?"

Noemi:"PROMISE! NOW GO!"

I kissed him and sent him off. I intend to keep my promise.
