Part 46: Midevil Times

Battle practice had begun and it was intense. Lessons focused on precision, building muscle and speed. In the fire section Azula worked her tribe to the bone. She focused on group skills and sincronisation.

Azula:"Group attack now! All of you against me and Rogue. Bring it!"

The group used the skills Azula taught to attack but one by one were taken down by the siblings.

Sora:"Fuck this."

Sora decided to use her own mix of skills. She saw the routine wasn't working so went her own separate way. She put up a good fight against Azula. After a few seconds she noticed Azula stopped fighting for practice and started fighting to hurt her. She knew Azula is way more experienced than her so it was unlikely she'd win. Finally Azula threw a fire ball that tripped her off. Azula joined both her flaming hands together and aimed for Sora's chest. Out of nowhere Rogue jumped in, grabbed his sister's hands and twisted them back. Azula let out a growl, but Rogue kicked her off. Sora got up as Azula fell. Azula slowly stood up to the eyes of her students. She prepared to hurt Rogur, but at that moment, Kemper passed by. She stepped back in anger staring at her brother.

Azula:"CLASS DISMISSED! YOU ALL NEED WORK!"

She walked out furiously. Sora walked to Rogue.

Sora:"Thank you, instructor."

Rogue:"Cut the instructor bullshit. I'm just Rogue. We all know that."

Sora:"What happened to you back at the festival?"

Rogue:"Azula happened. She got into my head. Told me I wasn't being the leader my family deserved. I'm sorry."

Sora:"As long as you don't do it again."

Rogue:"Don't worry. I'm tired of being her puppet."

Sora:"Good to have you back, doll."

They both laughed as they walked back to their hangout. The whole group was there.

Azami:"My arms feel like shit."

Mei:"I can't move."

Noemi:"Why is this so important anyway?"

Rogue:"Because we need to preserve the species."

Linda:"Storytime."

Rogue blew a bonfire.

Rogue:"Back when there were only pure bred dragons, there was competition for survival with humans. Around the middle ages is when things got ugly. Most European countries killed off our species. That's why youb always hear knights VS dragons stories. They really happened. Meanwhile in Asian countries is when the trade for humans and peace. This is when mixed dragons came to be, all of us. But in the north our species died out. Eventually only mixed survived. We could hide between the humans. Meanwhile my dad and his brother created a place where dragons could live. That's then they let the dragons come in and that's where he met my mother, where all of my siblings and me were born. And where we live now."

Sora:"So this is like deja vu."

Rogue:"Yep. This can define if we live or die."

At that moment Linda appeared pissed off carrying Kiwi like an animal.

Mei:"What the hell is wrong with you?!"

Linda:"IT IS WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!"

Mei:"WHAT?!"

Linda:"REN BROKE UP WITH ME I'M GIVING IT BACK!"

Azami:"UGH!"
