Chapter 22: Can You Keep a Secret?

Shinya is now a regular visitor in the dragon kingdom. All he needs is a fallen scale from one of the girls and he has his ticket in. The dragons have accepted him as a, slightly annoying but sweet new member of their big family. But the fact that a human could enter the human world still worried Kemper. The dragons made Shinya swear to never tell a soul. Luckily Shinya obeys Noemi, plus him being him, not many people take him seriously.

Today was one of those days when the group got out of school early, when everybody left they snuck into the janitors closet to spend extra time in the dragon world.

Linda:"Hi guys!"

Pacifica:"Where'd you leave Shinya?"

Noemi:"He was behind us a second ago."

Shinya:"LOOK AT THIS!"

He was in the entrance hallway standing before the same mysterious door Azami had peeked threw the first time they arrived at the dragon kingdom.

Azami:"SHINYA GET BACK HERE! NO!"

Kemper saw Shinya trying to open the door and flew over. He landed between Shinya and the door, making Shinya fall back.

Kemper:"NEVER OPEN THAT DOOR! YOU IGNORANT HUMAN! ILL BURN YOU ALIVE!"

Noemi flew over and defended Shinya. She let out a loud growl and grabbed Shinya.

Kemper:"Make sure he understands."

Noemi:"He will. He's new here let him make mistakes, Goddammit."

Kemper:"One mistake of his and we'll all be dead! We should have never let him in here in the first place!"

Finally Rogue stepped in.

Rogue:" Father that is enough! He made a mistake, he's sorry, right Shinya?"

Shinya nodded. Kemper stared at his son, spread his wings and left.

Sora:"Finally accepting us as friends I see."

Rogue:"Shut up."

Mei:"Your blushing."

Rogue:"SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

Linda:"Make us."

Rogue:"Guys help me out here."

Shinya:"Sorry."

Haku:"We're outnumbered."

Pacifica:"HA!"

After their dragon battle classes they all went to their usual spot to hang out, a small section between the fire and earth training areas. Again the shadow dragons passed by them. Haku got up.

Sora:"Finally gonna talk to Misty?"

Haku:"Yep."

Mei:"Good luck."

Haku:"Thanks."

Noemi:"Aren't you gonna go talk to smoke?"

Azami:"I am never looking at him again."

Mei:"Let me guess, he caught you stalking him."

Azami:"Don't remind me!"

Haku walked over to the shadow dragons group and sought out Misty talking to a few others girls in the group.

Haku:"Hi. I'm Haku I'm next in line to be the next knowledge dragon. I felt it was important to acquaint myself with every ..."

Misty:"Excuse me, did I ask for you to speak to me?"

Haku:"No but as a..."

Misty:" If I did not request for you to socialize with me, why are you attempting to?"

Haku:"B..."

Misty:"Farewell."

Haku:"Wait."

Misty:"I said, farewell."

Haku turned around to walk away.

Haku:"Uncultured and rude abomination."

Misty's jaw dropped as Haku walked away.

Azami:"Smooth one, little bro."

Haku:"Thank you. Isn't she amazing."

Linda:"She insulted you."

Haku:"Yes, but in such a beautifully intellectual way."
