Part 44: Silver lining

After Linda came out from parenting class they placed Kiwi in the baby care center in the prairie. The others came out from speaking to Kemper and he ordered a reunion with the whole kingdom.

Kemper:"Family, Friends, the day has arrived when our peace has been broken once again."

Everyone exchanged nervous looks and gasps.

Kemper:"The dragon hunters has returned."

Now this really stirred up the crowd. The group spoke in whispers.

Sora:"Where's Shinya and Thad?"

Noemi:"We tied them to the willow tree."

Azami:"Crafty."

Kemper continued.

Nuka:"We must pull together in these hard times. If history serves, we have another war in our hands. We do not want to battle, but will if we must."

Kemper:"Advanced Battle Training begins today. We have to prepare. Dismissed."

Everyone slowly went back to their stations. The group walked together to the prairie where the babies were to go get Kiwi.

Pacifica:"It's a bad time to be a dragon."

Cecil:"On the bright side I can stay longer."

Noemi:"I don't think there will able a bright side to a war."

Sora:"To the fact we might die."

Haku:"We can just back out."

Mei:"Back out?"

Haku:"Yeah. Go home and pretend this never happened."

Azami:"What? NO! We're a part of this and we're sticking to it to the end!"

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Gene:"Hey who's playing there with Kiwi? She looks like, Yuki?"

Haku:"It is..."

They saw as Yuki and Kiwi enjoyed each others company.

Linda:"Okay, okay that's cute."

Mei:"Cute? Come on that's adorable!"

Azami:"I guess this is the silver lining of the situation."

Linda:"Yeah... That doesn't change the fact I don't want to be it's mother."
