Incoherent

Chapter 16: Baby Maybe

So a few weeks pass and the girls lessons in the dragon real are going well. They have great teachers and are devoted students. Meanwhile Haku and Mei have become, well, let's say comfortable with the idea of being parents together. A relationship even sprouted. And now their lessons have got more physical. But today the lessons are over and we see our ladies just hanging out in the dragon real.

Azami:"So how long until I'm an expert?"

Linda:"Probably a few more weeks. Then you can teach the little ones."

Azami:"COOL! I LOVE KIDS!"

Sora:"I like kids, probably has to do with the fact I have so many baby cousins."

Noemi:"Their okay."

Mei:"Their the best thing in the world!"

Sora:"Whatever you say baby mama."

Linda:" If you guys like them so much wanna see a dragon birth?"

Azami:"YES!"

Mei:"YES!"

Sora:"SURE!"

Noemi:"Ew! See a like actual birth? We saw one in health class... it was so gross..."

Linda:"Not like that..."

Linda lead them to the fertility section. There were many nests with baby dragons in them. They are just as cute as human babies just with scales and a tail.

Linda:"Hello Mira. We're here to witness the new birth."

Mira:"Oh sure just be silent and follow me."

She left a young mother dragon to tend the baby and nest she was caring for and lead them to the back behind some rock where a violet female and a bright green male tended a nest with an egg.

Mira:"Kids this is Vera and Kell. The parents."

Azami:"Of course they come from eggs."

Noemi:"It looks like a dinosaur egg.'

Haku:"Well no shit. Where do you expect a dragon to fit?"

As the egg started moving and hatching the question rose in Meis head. Where would a dragon fit? She was a dragon and Haku was a dragon. So it would only be logical for the baby to be a dragon. But growing inside her? She looked down at her stomach. No bump at all yet. She didn't even pay attention until she heard a baby cry. She looked up to see a baby dragon laying in a pile of egg shells. Its parents surrounding the nest, giving it warmth.

Azami:"Aaaww its so cute!"

Sora:"Its like a adorable alligator!"

Noemi:"Oh my God, Sora! Don't call their new baby an alligator!"

Mira:"Alright now. The new family need their privacy. Come on."

They walked out to the rest of the nests as Mei got a bit nervous.

Mei:"Uh, Mira?"

Mira:"Yes?"

Mei:"If I'm a dragon and Hakus a dragon and our babys a dragon... shouldn't I have had an egg?"

Mira:"In logic, yes."

Mei:"But I'm having a human pregnancy..."

Mira:"Yes its quite odd. I've never dealt with a half converted dragon pregnancy..."

Mei:"WHAT?"

Azami:"HA! YOURE THE FIRST DRAGON TEEN MOM!"

Mei:"DON'T GET INVOLVED! Sooo...?"

Mira:"So we'll have to wait and see..."
