Chapter 36: Time for some changes

All the citizens of the dragon world formed a crowd around the displays to be showed. Kemper and his family stood over everyone.

Kemper:"Let the ceremony begin!"

Everyone cheered and Mira stood forward.

Mira:"Parenthood and fertility would like to present the junior dragons presentation."

Like that a group of toddler dragons flew up carrying a flower banner. At the end was little Yuki... Running to keep up. Every few steps she'd lift up slightly, her wings only taking her 3 feet off the ground for about 10 seconds.

Mei:"MY BABY! LOOK AT HER SHE'S SO CUTE! AAAAWW SHE'S DOING SO WELL!"

Haku:"Be quiet! We're embarrassing her and her adoptive parents!"

Mei:"DON'T YOU SHUSH ME WHEN I'M TRYING TO MAKE A MEMORY! OH OH I NEED TO TAKE A PICTURE!"

Misty:"HA! She told you! I like her!"

After all the toddlers left, little Yuki stumbling behind, it was time for the adult displays. First was the yearly mandatory welcoming of the sea. In other words the advanced ocean dragons who have now pride themselves of living 24/7 under the sea. Only very few water dragons got to such level. This group included Kemper's daughter Aqua, the water leader, two other females and Pacifica's girlfriend Cecil. The crowd watched as dragons swam over from the beach. Their scales sticking out of the water like shark fins. As they reached shore they changed into their human form, walking out of the water they looked like mermaids, literally. Their skin was pale, almost a light blue, the webbing in between their fingers prominent, and their skin shined under the moonlight like scales. Cecil was the girl with the blueish green hair and freckles. She looked like a bikini model.

Lilith:"There's Cecil! CECIL!"

Lilith waved her over. Cecil saw, waved back and ran over. All the girls were being reunited with family and friends, even Aqua who ran to Kemper and Mira then to all her brothers and sisters.

Lilith:"Oh my God! I can't believe your back! LINDA CECIL'S BACK!"

Linda:"SAY NO MORE!"

The friends embraced a group hug. The rest of the group just awed at the adorable reunion.

Lilith:"Cecil these are our new friends! You're going to love them!"

Cecil:"Hi everyone! Wow I need to catch up but there's one face I don't see... Where's Pacifica? I've been waiting a whole year!"

Linda:"Shush she's on!"

And the displays started beggining with water. Pacifica stood with a male water dragon (all displays were done in human form). Her curly blond hair extra curly and her water dragon costume flowing (practically a bikini top with a big flowing skirt but WAY prettier) the display began. It was like an ice skating show, but on water with water shooting up around the dancer making a bunch of shapes and forms around them. The grand finally was an enormous heart shaped fountain with Pacifica being held up high by her partner. They bowed and let the rest of the displays continue. Pacifica waisted no time running to Cecil and kissing her.

Sora:"THEY ARE SO CUTE!"

Mei:"Relax you have your prince charming who's sitting with his family with an enormous unicorn on his lap."

Pacifica:"Did you guys like it?"

Noemi:"Yes! You were amazing!"

Azami:"Tho I think the water washed away your face glitter."

They all laughed and enjoyed the displays. Fire did a Hawaiian themes fire dancer display. Vegetation did a floral ballet. Earth a hardcore earthquake rock (see what I did there) band. Animal released many rescued birds back to the wild so their colors lit up the sky. The shows went on until the end when it was time for the leader to speak a few words.
