Incoherent

Part 12: These are my people

Outside the dark hallway was a beautiful landscape filled with pastures, forests, lakes, a river and a beach in the far distance. They seemed to be standing on a hill. And the best part, dragons everywhere. They flew high up, swam in the lake, circled the forest. Everyone was in awe. Suddenly one flew right over their heads.

Sora:"WOAH!"

Azami:"WOW!"

Mei:"COOL!"

Noemi:"WE'RE GONNA DIE!"

It landed itself in front of the group, facing them. It was enormous, with blue-grey scales, its head covered in horns. Its sheer size was intimidating enough.

"Who are you? And what brings you here?" it said. Its voice was deep and a bit raspy. Sora stepped forward.

Sora:"Heeeey. I'm Sora. These are my friends. We were brought here from a janitors closet."

"Ah", he said."New comers. I am Kemper. I rule these lands as one of the eldest dragons here."

Azami:"Oh... so how old are ya?"

Noemi:"AZAMI ITS RUDE TO ASK SOMEONE'S AGE!"

Kemper:"Its fine. I am as old as the dinosaurs my dear."

Mei:"Damn."

He gave a chuckle. He stood before them regally.

Kemper:"So what type of dragons are you?"

Mei:"Uuuuhhh... I guess I can play with water?"

Kemper stood on his back legs and gave a loud roar. The girls covered their ears at the piercing noise. A greenish blue dragon flew out of the water to Kempers side.

Kemper:"Whats your name, child?"

Mei:"Mei..."

Kemper:"Mei... this is Pacifica. She is a dragon of the sea. She will guide you."

Sora:"Guide her for what?"

Kemper:"To control your new powers and understand where your from. Now, Sora did you say it was? What's your power?"

Sora snapped her fingers and a flame sparked. Pacifica led Mei to the lake. Kemper let out another strong roar and a red dragon that was on a rocky mountain flew over.

Kemper:"This is my son, Rogue. He will teach you about fire."

Sora:"Coooool!"

Kemper:"Now you, the delicate one with lavender hair."

Azami nudged Noemi over. Noemi slowly stepped forward. She placed a hand on the ground and a lily grew out. Kemper let out a softer roar and a light green dragon flew over.

Kemper:"Lilith will be your guide for being a vegetation dragon."

Azami stepped over eagerly and stomped her foot, causing a earthquake that almost knocked Kemper off the mountain. He quickly roared and brought a brownish orange dragon over.

Kemper:"Linda will be your teacher. Linda be careful. She has a strong step."

When all the girls left Kemper leaned in to Haku.

Kemper:"And what's your gift?"

Haku:"Oh... I'm not a dragon."

Kemper:"Nonsense. Of course you are. Only dragons can enter the portal."

Haku:"Well... I'm Azamis brother. But I don't transform or anything."

Kemper:"Well young boy, I am in luck. You appear to be a wisdom dragon. There is only one more like you. My younger brother Nuka."

He let out a call and a dark purple dragon crawled out of a cave.

Kemper:"Nuka, your successor has arrived."

Nuka:"Finally. I've been waiting for you for millenniums dear boy. Come there is much to teach you!"

Nuka grabbed Haku and flew into the cave. Let today's lesson begin.
