Incoherent

Part 59: Death or Peace?

Our team was working hard. But more and more soldiers arrived. You could see everyone working their asses off for the sake of their home. Their species.

Sora: "This is getting impossible!"

Akuma:"Hold your ground, kids!"

Haku:"How?! We're outnumbered and out armed!"

Kemper:"JUST HOLD!"

They started shooting all around them. There was nowhere to hide. They couldn't dodge forever.

Noemi:"AAAHH OOOWW I'M HIT!"

Mei:"AZAMI!"

Azami:"I'M ON IT!"

Azami flew up as high as she could in the chaos. She got a hit on a wing and fell. But this wasn't a set back. She had to fall anyway. In the fall she created an earthquake to knock the army off their feet. She then created a rock dome for the dragons.

Misty:"Will this hold?"

Nuka:"Let's hope."

They felt banging from the outside.

Azami:"A little help here!"

All the earth dragons helped to keep the shelter in place. The humans left the shelter be, but they felt them messing with something else.

Pacifica:"What are they doing?"

Misty:"Sh! Let me hear!"

Outside cries and whinning could be heard and in between all.

"OW! GET OOOOFF!"

Noemi:"Shinya?"

"Mama!"

Linda:"KIWI!"

Linda punched her way out of the shelter and speedes over knocking every soldier she could in her way. Mei also speeded.

Mei:" YUKI!"

Yuki:"MAMA!"

Soldiers put guns and rifles to the babies heads, forcing Mei, Linda and the rest to stop.

Linda:"LET THEM GO OR I SWEAR TO YOU I WILL BURRY YOU ALL UNDER A FLOOR OF ROCK!"

Kemper:"RELEASE THE YOUNG!"

A soldier with Yuki steppes forward.

Soldier:"THESE ARE NOT 'CHILDREN'! DON'T TAKE SYMPATHY! THESE ARE THE OFFSPRING OF THE FUTURE CREATURES THAT WILL DESTROY  ALL OF US!"

Sora:"YOU BROUGHT THIS ON YOURSELVES! WE WERE FINE WITH PEACE BUT YOU ALL DECIDED FOR WAR!"

Soldier:"YOU WOULD ALL DESTROY US EVENTUALLY! IT'S EAT OR BE EATEN! WE KILL YOU ALL BEFORE YOU KILL US FIRST!"

Mei:"YOU ARE ALL COMPLETELY MENTAL! THIS IDEOLIGY IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! IF THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE TO LIVE THREW AS DRAGONS THEN NO!"

Mei calmly walked over to the soldier and grabbed Yuki. She faced the army and just sat down.

Mei:"IF THIS IS GOING TO BE A WORLD OF INTOLERANCE AND IDIOCY I REFUSE TO LIVE IN IT OR RAISE MY CHILD TO SUFFER IN IT! KILL ME. I HAVE LOST FAITH ON THIS WORLD."

Everyone stood in shock.

Gene:"Me too. As a human I am disgusted by this behavior."

Haku:"Me three. I cannot tolerate this lack of intect."

Noemi:"Me four. It isn't worth it."

Shinya:"I do what Noemi does!"

Slowly everyone sat down in surrender. The last left standing were the three siblings.

Nuka:"Well if you can't beat 'em, join 'em."

Kemper:"I didn't want to resort to violence anyway. If this is the only way to find peace then so be it."

All eyes were on Akuma.

Akuma:"I refuse to live in the world without my people. I'll see you all in hell."

And every dragon surrendered.
