Chapter 29: Faux Commitment

As the girls ran threw every store the boys just went to Hot Topic and then sat down on a bench.

Haku:"Are you girls done yet?"

Mei:"Done? We haven't even started!"

Sora:"We're missing accessories, shoes, clothes, we need new make-up to match our outfits, we need to go get our nails done, go to the spa to get refreshed, then the hair salon to touch up our root and do our hair..."

Linda:"I'll just sit with the boys..."

Noemi:"No you won't! Rogue texted and he said Stone is going all out so we have to make you gorgeous!"

Linda:"I get its a special  occasion but we're going as friends I don't get the big deal."

Azami:"Someone get me a baseball bat."

Sora:"For?"

Azami:"Knocking some sense into this girl."

Noemi:"Whatever. You boys do what you want. I'll shop for you Shinya."

Azami:"And I'll shop for you Haku. If your gonna fight you have to look good and you have no idea how to dress."

Shinya:"And what do we do?"

The girls dropped all their shopping bags with the boys.

Mei:"Watch them while we shop!"

The ladies left and Gene arrived to sit with the boys.

Gene:" So I got my clothes. What's all this?"

Haku:"One word. Girls."

Meanwhile the girls (and Linda against her will) marched around happily. And bought half the mall. It wasn't until they reached the MAC store that their day got ruined.

Noemi:"I like this black gel eyeliner."

Mei:"This eye-shadow palate has great colors."

Linda:" What's this?"

Lilith:"An eyelash curler. You squeeze your eyelashes in it."

Linda:"AH!"

In all the commotion a voice rose up over theirs.

Hairi:"Ew there is no amount of make up to hide that face."

Azami:"And theres no plastic surgery to fix yours."

Hairi:"Why fix what's already perfect."

Sora:"What do you want before I perform the surgery myself?"

Hairi:"I'm just picking up some cosmetics for tonight, not like I need it."

Mei:"And may I ask what is tonight?"

Hairi:"Duh the school student teacher dance. Damn Mei no wonder your grades are so low."

Mei:"Ugghh... I'LL KILL HER!"

Sora and Noemi held Mei back as Hairi laughed and walked away.

Azami:"Tonight is the dance? But we have the dragon festival!"

Lilith:"Can't you skip the dance?"

Sora:"We'd love to believe me, but its mandatory for seniors. If we don't we can get detention or even suspension and Azami hasn't even gotten detention for skipping class."

Azami:"If I skip I might miss something!"

Linda:"Then just go to the dance for a little while then leave to the dragon festival. The displays don't start until the end of the party."

Mei:"That's perfect!"

Noemi:"Great! Now let's go to the salon and get these roots touched up."

Linda:"What roots?"

Mei:"Linda this pastel blue hair is dyed in."

Linda:"Not anymore girls. Dragon perk number one, look in a mirror."

The girls looked at their hair in the mirror. The color was still vibrant and no dark roots.

Azami:"That's impossible we haven't dyed our hair in like 3 months. The fuchsia is supposed to have washed off by now."

Noemi:"And my new growth... its lilac."

Linda:"That's because from now on that's your natural hair color. You subconsciously knew what color dragon you were going to be, dyed your hair that color and now its permanent and growing in. What you thought this fire engine red was natural?"

Sora:"FUCKING AWESOME!"
