Incoherent

Part 48: Baby come back

Everyone searched far and wide for Kiwi. Pacifica, Cecil and Mei searched in the water. Azami, Noemi and Haku searched in the forest. Lilith and Misty roamed the grasslands. Rogue and Gene searched the rocky mountain. Sora tried the beach. Shinya and Thad asked around. And Linda flew above in the sky to see if she could catch a glimpse. After a good 3 hours of search nothing came up.

Pacifica:"We need a new plan."

Sora:"No shit."

Shinya:"I FOUND KIWI!"

Mei:"WHAT? REALLY?"

Everyone ran over to Shinya who was in the vegetation section.

Shinya:"Look!"

Noemi:"Shinya... THESE ARE ACTUAL KIWI FRUITS! WE'RE LOOKING FOR THE BABY!"

Shinya:"Ooooh... Then I don't know..."

Thad:"OVER HERE!"

They ran from dumb to dumber.

Azami:"What now?"

Thad:"He's seen her."

Thad was standing with Stone.

Thad:"He said he saw her."

Mei:"Really? Little blonde baby, about this big, crawling with a fuschia dress."

Linda flew down beside them exhausted.

Linda:"I circled the whole land 17 times. No sign of her."

Azami:"Stone said he saw her."

Linda:"Why do you suddenly want to help? Don't you have a girlfriend to get to?"

Stone:"Will you stop! And if you don't want my help fine! I'll keep what I know to myself!"

Sora:"You do that I will rip your testicles out with my bare hands!"

Stone:"Okay, okay! I saw her crawling towards the cave exit."

Haku:"Cave exit?"

Linda:"She must be going back to my house COME ON!"

Everyone even Stone ran out threw the exit.

Misty:"She a path."

The path was composed of crawling marks for a few feet, tracks of about 3 steps, an indentation on the dirt where she fell, and repeat. But after some distence the tracks stopped.

Linda:"What the..."

Suddenly the sound of shattering glass was heard. Instinctively they all ran to Linda's house. Her door had been torn open. Her whole house was vandalized. They hearf baby cries. Walking further they found what they were looking for.

Staring back at them were a group of dragon hunters. They were holding Kiwi against the table, pressing her head hard against it, knife near her neck. Kiwi was screaming and crying hysterically. She looked up still crying.

Kiwi:"MAMA!"

Linda:"Let. Her. Go."

The hunters stepped forward drawing their intricate swords.

Linda:"I just want you all to know, none of you are leaving this house alive."

She and the group stepped forward to battle.
