A little bit of throwback (Part 2)

Clyde's POV

It's Avon wedding (Charles ex). She's a good friend of mine. So she invited me. I have three best buddies in my life now. Charles, Eric and Brent. They're like my family.

Mom is pretty annoying at times. She's pissing me of with all the arranged dates. I'm trying to escape all of them as much as possible. Ayaw kong matali sa babaeng hindi ko gusto. I don't want it yet. I know I'm a Bachelor ready to settle down. Pero hindi ko pa nahanap ang tamang babae para sa akin.

I am surprised seeing her in the wedding event of Avon. Umalis siya pero nakita kong bumalik din. I can see how surprised she was, when she saw her ex getting married to my friend.

Nabanga niya ako, but that was intentional. Sinadya kong banggain siya. But what else can I do? I don't have the same feelings on her like before. Kaya pinabayaan ko na siya.

What else fate could offer? Ayaw ko na sa kanya at tapos na ang misyon ko sa buhay niya. But there she is, screaming with all the pain her heart brings.

I wanted to have a peaceful night but she ruined it again. Kaya pinagmasdan ko na lang siya sa kalokohan niya. I laughed really. Nakakatawa siya, hanggang sa nahulog siya sa dagat.

I waited for a couple of minutes. 'Aahon din 'yan' Isip ko, but my instinct tells me a different story. Kaya sumisid na ako para tulungan siya.

Fuck! She can't swim I bet.

My heart melted in an instant. Nang makita ko ang panginginig niya. I'm a special agent and we can perfectly fake our feelings too. I'm the best in that field. Pero bakit ngayon ay parang hindi ko kayang pabayaan siya... Okay, I will help her tonight but I won't care about her tomorrow.

"Clyde, it's Brent. Mission Cinderella is on, bro. Matagal na. This time it's code black, bud. Sorry at ngayon ko lang nasabi. I had a bad feeling before. That's why I hacked his system, bro."

Damn it! Mura ng isip ko.

"I don't care anymore, Brent. Let them find her. Just secure the pin."

And now here we go again. Fuck this! Pero bahala na. Nakakapagod ka na Serenity. But deep inside me someone's telling me not to give up. I always have my perfect mission solved. She's actually not a mission, but she's like a possession that needed to be protected.

It's all thanks to Mum. Napagkamalan siyang fiancé ko. Oh, that's not a bad idea after all. It's my only way to keep her at reached in everything. I just have to make some rules because I don't want her and I don't like her anymore. But as usual she's stubborn. What else do I expect? Kilala ko na siya noon pa at talagang matigas at palaban ang karakter niya.

And she's drunk again. Nakikita ko siyang bumaba ng hagdanan na parang galit na nakatitig sa akin. Her eyes came staring at me like a hawk. I have Crystal with me in my lap. She's a good toy for tonight but she ruined it again.

"Hey!" Mabilis niyang hinila si Crystal sa harapan ko at napailing na ako.

"What the-- Who are you bitch?" sa inis na tugon ni Crystal sa kanya.

Ngumiti lang din siya. Lasing ka na naman, Serenity. Isip ko. I smirked silently while staring at her and her eyes are so fiery.

"Who are you to tease my man?" sa taas kilay niyang saad kay Crystal. Napatawa ako nang bahagya.

"W-what? Clyde baby..." Tumingin sa akin si Crystal at naguguluhan pa.

"See this?" Pinakita niya agad kay Crystal ang engagement ring na binigay ko sa kanya kanina.
